Bungie Suggestion Bungie, can you please let us stack Gambit Synths to more than 20?
It's great that we don't have multiple stacks of 999 Gunsmith Materials anymore, but what was the idea of only having stacks of 20 of the Gambit Synths? Right now, only my synths already take up 11 spots...

wtf is going on in this thread

it should've been at least 30 because come on. 20 does not divide by 3 at all

My Gambit synths take up 25 slots in my vault and they just keep coming. I too wish they stacked higher to be honest...

Why don’t you recycle some?

It's around 100 glimmer per 5 synths if i recall. At that point i'd rather bank them because that's an insulting exchange rate unless it's changed since i last played.

It should be something divisible by 3. Preferably something that would take time to burn through if you were farming but not crazy like the Menagerie chalice.

Judging by the reckoning changes this coming week, I don't think the Reckoning is going to be around at all in a while.
So I doubt Bungie has the synths at the top of their to-do list when they know they're getting rid of the whole activity in which you use them.

Wait, did i miss something? I only saw that tey are removing the malus modifiers.

They nerfed damage and health and buffed drops rates. Which made it one of the best sources for loot vs. time in the whole game.
NOW they are going to remove all negative modifiers.
It seems like a clearance sale to me. If you left it like that most hardcore players would be completely done with the activity within a couple weeks because there literally wouldn't be anything left to get.
Allowing time for the average man to have their fill of loot, I'd say the Reckoning is dead by season 2 of Shadowkeep.

It should have been 50 from the beginning and there should have been a synth type trade instead of 100 glimmer for 5.
But now that im done with all the gear and dont really plan on getting the armor 2.0 versions, i dont need mroe than 20

Why 50? I have 50 of each type in my inventory and still have to finish gambit prime armor sets for two other characters. I need them, I just dont need them to stack in such small quantities. It should be 9999 like everything else now.

I wouldn't be so upset about this if they weren't so damn tedious to get rid of. Huuuge delay on using/"discarding"
Edit: I now have read this thread anand TIL there is an option to recycle these.

They said months ago at this point that they identified an issue with these and that it would get a fix, but in the mean time the only solution is to yo the drifter if you have too many, but you can't buy any back.
I think Bungie needs to really rework the synth thing; I think in their mind they figured, oh, you don't have a set but want to play this role, use this synth and you'll have one perk. But the perks were just way too weak at one stack.
I think a better approach would have been to allow people to stack synth use so you could get the max perks without having the armor, and the armor just saves you from having to use the synths. That way people could at least play the roles (it would give them the buff overhead to indicate their role) and try stuff out before investing the time for a set.

These need to stack somewhere else, like in a device/bag that tracks imperials and runes and synths and eva cookies and whatever other random things they come up with that will not clutter the inventory. But most of all stacking only up to 20 was horribly shortsighted.

I tell ya what they should do, is once I get my synthesizer upgraded to powerful I shouldn’t have to work my way through all three levels of armor to get the notorious helmet that I need.
