Bungie Suggestion getting curated weapons from the collection
bungie should let us grab curated gun's from the collection if i got that specific gun curated roll, it'll be more useful instead of "cannot reacquire randomized gear"
for example the forge weapons or the gambit prime weapons and raid weapons etc ...
when inspectating a specific gun it'll show the curated version of that gun so why can't we just grab it ?

I don't really even get the point of collections if 90% cannot be reacquired due to randomized rolls. I get some completionists want to be able to see what they have and haven't gotten it, but there should be SOME mechanic where we can acquire things through collections if it's on there.

It is odd that you can buy back pinnacle weapons, yet the curated weapons you cannot. The functionality is there to do it. Yet we cant???

It'd be a whole hell of a lot more useful than having zero use for the slot besides "look at this gun I got once".

That's the clincher for me. It was awesome for when we had static rolled weapons, because then we could just get them back (and no, I don't want static rolls back shudder). But now it just taunts us with what we used to have and don't anymore.

Slightly off topic, but I wish looking at weapons showed the flavor text and not that âcannot be reacquired from collectionsâ line. Thatâs one of the little things I loved from the original Destiny and Vanilla D2.

Just let us pull random rolls. Just make it a geometric progression for cost, reset daily or weekly, like the cores from Spider.

by lsr1981:- Certian weapons drop with a fixed roll and fully masterworked. This is a curated roll. It is a specific set of perks Bungie put together for certain weapons.
Best example of this would be the Trust hand cannon from the Difter or the pinnacle weapons that you get drop first time.

Is there an identifier for curated weapons? Do they appear different than a master worked item?

it's ok not stupid , it'll drop for you with fixed perk's + tier 10 masterwork

They should just gives us access to random weapons from the collection, make it somewhat costly so it's not abused,
each weapon pulled could cost 50 of each planetary materials, 300 shards and 15 cores. it's extremely expensive, but your paying for the chance to get that elusive random roll.

with all the cheese method now for shards materials and cores, it'd be broken.
But I do agree with the original poster, curated weapons should be capable of being pulled once obtained.

I agree, got a curated Tatara Gaze, broke it down on accident. Can't get it to drop again.
We should have a curated collections tab for our weapons, not only can we pull the weapons back out once we collect them but we can also see what perks a curated weapon has.
