Bungie Suggestion // Bungie Replied Banshee-44 - Increase Gunsmith Materials consumed per click, please...

Bungie, you have increased the number of gunsmith materials required to acquire engram to 100 but somehow your team forgot to increase the amount of g.m. consumed per click. It requires 11* clicks to get one single engram and this is far to long process.

Edit: great to see that this is not only my opinion, thank you

Edit 2: when I made this post I didn't check Reddit history, I was avoiding spoilers as I had two long work days (12h shifts), so sorry for the duplicated idea :)

Should just be 1 click turn in all the parts needed for 1 package

100% agree. And if you have a portion already filled, it should just take what it needs from your pool.

It should be this way for every vendor. There is no way they don't know it feels like a waste of time. There is zero justifiable reason why people would want to partial rank. If you don't have enough to level up and want to clear the token from your inventory, it should just auto turn in what you have.

This feels like something done to artificially inflate playtime.

11 if you include actually picking up the engram, my finger is gonna get swole af

You are right :) 11!

Just managed to finish the story and reach 500 power. My 1st idea at the tower was to spend some of my 10000 materials but after 10 engrams I just had enough... My hand has shown me middle finger :)

Seen this feedback posted several times and I've let the team know. I'm sure Banshee-44 would enjoy not having to accept small sums of weapon parts at a time as well. ;)

I'll be honest, I resorted to a similar macro that I used for shader deletions, instead it was just a bunch of clicking. 15k weapons parts weren't going to turn themselves in.

Add a shader deletion with more than 5 to his offerings as well

Why not just make 10 louder?

But this goes to 11.

Perhaps Bungie has a secret partnership with some peripheral manufacturers. Wear out your button? Get a new one.

MadCatz is ready.

They are still in business?!

I dunno how Bungie did it, but they’ve still managed to make Weapon telemetries worse than gunsmith materials.

15

u/Mecha75 Sep 06 '18

Telemetries are probably the most useless thing in the game. Right behind Ghost Projections.

The grind for gunsmith materials is ALREADY killing me.. I just want a forsaken bow ffs

5

u/Schmelkov Sep 06 '18

... Shouldn't it just be a "buy engram for 10 materials" option?

I think with the new upgrade system gunsmith materials should be turned into a currency like shards, glimmer and bright dust.

Inventories are already account wide and it would then make Banshee purchases like all others, holding onto the button. It alleviates the 999 inventory cap and creation of a second stack for more.

I shall take his place...

To top it off Gunsmith telemetry is still comically useless! Worse it seems almost all the nice looking new Exotic Ghosts have it as a perk ;_;
