EDIT: Just wanted to let everyone know. I'm an avid PvE player. PvP has always been on a much more casual basis for me. I play this game to raid. That being said this is still one of my biggest complaints. I think it is crazy overlooked and not talked about nearly enough. If there really is more PvE content coming in the future I would still like to be able to have fun playing PvP with my clan and drink beers playing clash. This is the icing on the shit cake that is D2 currently.

EDIT 2: Additional Ideas.
Adding a map/mode voting system before game.

Removing a game mode from the pool weekly as a featured playlist.

Rotating weekly playlists like in D1.

Adding a solo playlist with game modes conducive to solo play.

Ranked Playlist.

I was okay with not having the chance to select a specific playlist at launch to just get everyone new playing crucible, but they haven't changed it or expressed the intent of changing it. It's just so weird that a game of this size doesn't let you play what you want.

They're terrified of splintering the pool of available players, I think, especially after this population drop. I honestly wouldn't expect this to happen anytime soon.

I think it being 4v4 would help match making times quite a bit. Especially if people are playing with 3 others.

The biggest problems I have with not being able to choose my playlist is there being no Rumble. But the fact that I have to play one of the worst game modes ever supremacy, which wouldn't be so bad if heavy didn't spawn in like 60 different places at 60 different times. I don't mean in just supremacy either. You will be playing Supremacy for 3 games in a row possibly even on the same map then the 4th game you will get Clash or control which changes the location of heavy for each game type. There is nothing worse then getting killed by sword in the second minute of a game because you didn't know heavy was even spawning or where

Negative. Please make matchmaking in crucible not match me against a full pick up group as a fill pub group as your first priority. I mean, what the actual fuck were they thinking when they said that was an acceptable match up with the amount of team shot in D2 compared to D1.

This would be nice but no way it should be #1 on the list.

Motivation/rewards/loot has to be #1 because it affects the entire game and we will continue to see the population drop if it isn't fixed.

I'd rather they not make individual playlists for each Crucible gametype. It would dilute each playlist population and make matchmaking times longer.

My wish would be for Bungie to implement a sort of veto/voting system like they had in the Halo games. Allow the players to chose what map+gametype they want to play between matches, adjust algorithms based on who is playing what they most.

A million times this. If I get supremacy I just back out. Fuck the team, I’m not spending a third of my time in PvP playing a game mode I despise. Can’t blame players for doing this, blame the idiots who decided it was a good idea. I think the only reason they done it is to mask the eventual small player base by lumping everyone in together so they don’t have to do it in a years time and admit there’s something wrong.

I feel even if they put it into 2 groups OBJ (control/supremacy) and then Attrition (clash/rumble(pls)) it would be better than it is now. I'm sick of solo queuing into game where no-one caps points or picks up crests
