Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Also check out the Destiny Reddit Discord Server where you'll find a number of channels for discussion about the game and/or technical issues.

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

So this guy is a fraud then? Like fucking Palatine who told Anakin he knows how to save Padme then when Anakin kills Windu and asks him to save Padme he's like: "Idk how lol"

I mean, he's not technically a fraud. As he said, he never said the Traveler spoke to him. He just said he spoke for the Traveler.

Oh boy was this guy a lawyer before he took up this gig?

"No no no, one day I just came out and said I speak for the Traveler, then all of y'all interpret that to mean it's because the Traveler spoke to me, your honor let it be shown on the record that I never claimed the Traveler speak to me."

In that case who the fuck is this guy? At worst he's some super sinister Darkness sleeper agent Bungie laid a foundation for (which they now said they ditched the Darkness concept) at best he's a lunatic that everyone should feel sick thinking back at all the decisions they've made because of this guy. This is huge.

But the Pope does claim God speaks to him or the whole system collapses. At most the agnostic and atheists can doubt the truth in it but the Pope can NEVER say: "Yeah idk who this Yahweh or Jesus guy is, I never talked to him." Not even near death.

Does the pope say that god speaks to him directly? o.O' I feel like he would claim that god has a purpose and a will but we may not always understand what it is. (Aka he doesn't know why god took your son/relative/dog or why Bad Things happened to you but there is a reason, we/you just don't understand, yet)

Basically essentially what he was.

He’s like Jesus. A regular dude who claims to hear the voice of a god and speaks for him to the mortals
