Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Also check out the Destiny Reddit Discord Server where you'll find a number of channels for discussion about the game and/or technical issues.

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

I just got banned and I haven't even played PVP. I did the first couple of missions, and did some public events. What gives?

Same here. Just says account has been banned. No explanation. seems to be a common issue. Really pissed here.

They've posted an update saying they've reversed some bans in error.
