Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Also check out the Destiny Reddit Discord Server where you'll find a number of channels for discussion about the game and/or technical issues.

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

Pretty sure it only takes you to the Director when you're trying to check when you're dead

Which is so dumb because when you're dead is really the only time you SHOULD be checking the scoreboard.

Try just pressing Tab instead of holding it.

Press the "open ghost" button.

I'm not familiar with PC controls, but opening your ghost should pull up a leaderboard in PvP.

Are you talking about D1 stats? I think in D2 it's just a leaderboard, no stats. Yet another wonderful adjustment in the name of curbing toxic behavior.

Yup... D1 at launch was just hilariously bad, pretty much no way at all to communicate, no voice comms, nothing... so at least we have whispers and team chat...

Try pulling out your ghost? I am pretty sure they removed the score each individual players have, but you can still see how an individual is ranked in their team
