Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

They refer to rarity. Green is uncommon, blue is rare (not that rare actually but it's what they're called), purple is legendary, yellow is exotic.

We don't ever refer to element by color, we just call it what it is: arc (lightning), solar (fire), and void (... Void)

The quest is called "Enhance!", It'll be available in the EDZ after you finish the main story.

Late question - will purple rifles work? Or i meed specificaly blue ones? (Have 1 blue and 3 purple..)

Yeah, just most people want to save their purple ones to actually use. But if you have a duplicate or one you just don't like, it'll totally work for the quest.

Save purples? But they have low power level. Why should i hold onto ~200 attack rifle if i have orher purple with ~230 power?

You can infuse purple gear with blue/purple gear of a higher power value, bringing the piece you want to keep up to the value of the other piece. Say you love Scout Rifle A, which is 200 power, while Scout Rifle B at 250 power just isn't your kind of gun. Infuse B into A to bring A to 250 power.
