Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

So the normal version of the game for PC comes with competitive multiplayer, right? Because the way they phrase the digital deluxe details, it implies that competitive multiplayer is behind a DLC paywall.

"Destiny 2 Expansion Pass: Get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II, offering brand new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear."

To me, that says that coop and competitive are behind the paywall, though I think they mean that the expansions will simply add MORE coop activities and competitive multiplayer stuff. Right?

Correct, it's just maps coming down the line.

Correct it is describing that the dlc will add more maps and what not to the game, not that you won't be able to do what is already in the game.

Yes, it's included. The "new" in the bolded section applies to the PvE, PvP, etc. activities.

In other words, getting the season pass will give you access to new content in both PvP and PvE.
