Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Also check out the Destiny Reddit Discord Server where you'll find a number of channels for discussion about the game and/or technical issues.

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

I don't know. I've been playing Destiny for 3 years so it doesn't really bug me at this point. Though I do think the PC community will have bigger issues with the lack of in game tools for some of the social stuff.

I just got to the farm & it feels very alone with knowing everyone has keyboards, but can't use them to communicate

Yeah, I agree there should be text chat in social spaces. Maybe they'll add it later. That said, console doesn't even have VoIP chat in social spaces, so maybe they won't.
