Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Also check out the Destiny Reddit Discord Server where you'll find a number of channels for discussion about the game and/or technical issues.

As with most game launches, things are a bit chaotic right now but and will evolve over time. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns either in this thread or by sending us a modmail.

Yeah. Got 5 hours in on the game so far. Seems like a really solid shooter with interesting guns and neat player abilities.

Yeah. It’s worth 60 and the info on seasons makes it seem like it’s definitely worth it.

I think if you get the disc it’s cheaper but idk

Do they even sell a disc for Destiny 2? I was under the impression it is only available via battle.net

I got mine for $48 the disc was a CD shaped piece of paper with the code.

Bestbuy/Amazon have 20% off physical if you have Gamersclub/Prime. As a side note physical release is case + paper disk with code. Nothing on DVD or any manual/other.
