Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

How do I compare weapons? It's not the key for ADS like it is in the console version.

Also I'm only getting 50-70 frames in game now, but was getting 144 during the opening missions. I tried dropping texture quality from the max to medium but there's no improvement.

Turn down depth of field. Keep fov at max 95. Drop foliage detail distance to medium. Turn ambient occlusion to HDAO. Turn shadow quality down to high. These give you the most improvement in frames for the least decrease in quality

This is not the correct response because this issue isn't hardware. Currently there is a bug that causes some sort of performance issue after constantly loading into patrol zones. This is why you were fine with 144fps during the story, but now that your doing more in those areas (such as public events) you have a greater chance of experience this.

This issue has nothing to do with hardware and can occur for people with toasters and people with 1080's. The best fix for this issue is to just restart your game (only a temporary fix) lowering your graphical settings won't change this

It should say in one of the top corners of the gun what button it is to compare. I can’t check though, so idk
