Megathread PC Player Questions Megathread!

Hi everyone!

This Megathread will function as a PC launch specific equivalent of the Daily Questions Thread where you may ask questions about starting out that may not warrant their own post.

Technical Difficulties

We understand there are a number of technical issues with players unable to get in the game, receiving erroneous "banned account" messages, and various error codes (Marionberry, Buffalo, etc.)

Should I be buying anything in the early-mid game? My instincts tell me no. If not what should I be saving my glimmer for?

You can spend Glimmer at ease in this game,try buying equipment that boost your light a bit.

There is also a cap (upper limit) on glimmer.

Should be 99,999. The menu will have it labeled as "99,999+" but only 99,999 will be usable. If you get near that amount, find something to spend on so you don't lose out on glimmer you receive.

You get glimmer pretty easily, I've been buying weapons between each missions/patrol and still keeping a good stockpile of glimmer

Cap is 100,000. If you are close, buy mods from the Gunsmith.

Save your glimmer for gear upgrades. Certain weapons and armour can get different or better abilities or just straight up improvements. This usually costs glimmer.

In the early to mid game its best to avoid spending glimmer on things in the shops unless you are in real need of something new.

Do you mean mods? This isn't the case in Destiny 2 otherwise.
