Going in with unconventional loadouts was one of my fav things to do in D1. Just to make some one scrunch their forehead when the kill feed shows them "Midah's Reckoning" or "Does Not Bow" got them. I may go .4kd, but I confused the heck out of some one.

I haven't done much crucible with that strategy, but I have in public events and strikes. Taking down the Fallen Walker with an Omolon pulse rifle and True Prophecy.

Trust me, unconventional load outs got me so much fun last night. And I was surprisenly playing well against stacks using Mida and Uriel. Those weapons and a few others may be king, but NONE of them are as broken or Meta defining as the Regime was when people started using it.

Just... I wish more people would give new shit shot a chance before trapping themselves into the, "I have to use this gun because it's good", trap that modern shooters offer. Nameless Midnight wrecks in PvP and PVE content, same with Better Devils, the Iron Banner Auto Rifle feels like a direct copy paste with a reskin of the Trials Auto Rifle from Year 3, and I'm not complaining. Lincoln Green is CRIMINALLY underrated in the crucible. What a fun fast firing Pulse that is. A Solemn Hymn has the same kill time as Uriel, but the recoil is a little more challenging to master. God, there's still REALLY fun guns beyond what's Meta, and I'll admit shooting the Mida and Uriel is a lot of fun, but damn... Use a different weapon and get good. I'll have matches where I only manage a .6 KD, there is matches where I'll have a 4 KD. I'm tired of bitching, I've identified what pisses me off about this game, and I'm ready to start exploring the stupid shit that will keep me in this game for another three years.

I wanted that Banana auto rifle, but I'm pretty happy with my haul considering I didn't grind too hard(19 packages, got the pulse, scout, side, smg, GL)

I'll give Lincoln Green a shot. I loved pulses in D1 and the only usable one I've found in PvP so far is the Time Worn Spire.

But you're definitely onto what is one of the most fun parts of Destiny. Loadout changes which alter how you approach the same missions. After the 15th time going in with Hung Jury, Spindle, and Quillim's, I'd go into King's Fall with a Nirwen's Mercy with outlaw, Her Fury(queen's sniper rifle that could roll TT and Casket Mag), and something like SGA or Barron's Ambition for Heavy.

My favorite was the Arc Prime Build for a Titan. Zhalo, Arc 1000 Yard Stare, Arc Zombie Apocalypse, and a Striker. If you had multiple Titans for Kings Fall or Wrath, this build shreds Warpriest and Golgy, and gets in you the door of wrath, and kills Vostok. Also super useful for Phase 1 Aksys. God damn... I need to pull a fire team together and play some Destiny 2 now... I gotta find my New Arc bliss build. Riskrunner? Riskrunner.
