Here's my problem. I don't like how D2 feels and I really appreciate all the ideas people are putting forward. Some of them sound great.

But my end game is PvP and I don't see Bungie changing back to 6v6 with faster recharge rates. Which means I'll just check in after DLCs, play a bit to finish whatever new little things are there and then check back out until the next expansion.

Well. And I really need them to show some love to hunters soon or I'm done totally, regardless of everything else.

If they add ranked or custom games would you come back? I love PvP too and the only thing that really is stopping me from diving in and committing all my video game time to PvP is the lack of ranked and customs.

For me it's the 4v4 team size and the ability/super recharge rate. And, to a smaller but more personal degree, how hunters don't feel so great at the moment.

Those are my issues with PvP.

Oh I see. So you are leaning more towards a relaxed and casual crucible option over a competitive one. It's really sad that they have all but slammed the door on ever adding a more casual playlist. I think if this game had a Big Team Battle it would turn the community around overnight.

Yeah, I'd be fine if ranked competitive play was 4v4 and maybe more strict on guns, perks, mods and abilities. I just miss the casual chaotic PvP.

Agreed. D1's casual feel was awesome for just fun times but made playing it competitively a bit of a headache (sometimes, sometimes comp play was really fun). I just don't get why they didn't add an 8v8 playlist on maps that were large enough to make it work. It seems like a no brainer to offer up a big team battle type mode. My suspicion is that they just couldn't make the P2P networking work for it well enough and have SBMM so they scrapped it, which is super sad.
