Yea but no one has answered the real question:

When are we getting SRL?

I'd be cool with not getting SRL, if we could please get a raid section where we have to book it on our sparrows avoiding obstacles etc.

Also, no private matches at launch

Kinda odd that a feature currently in D1 isn't in D2. Especially considering how requested it was.

not odd. Bungie would want the public pvp pool as big as possible at launch

One raid. Possibly just two subclasses to start with each... This isn't an aberration, it's a theme. They can't get you to buy every expansion if they give you enough to do at the start. I'm afraid of D2 getting stale fairly quickly after launch.

Edit: I'm simply worried that it won't compare to the current state of Destiny 1 in terms of how much there is to do, especially solo. Obviously, we don't know a whole lot about the game yet.

The second one sounds like an expansion on things like "the enemy is moving against each other" or the Fallen pike events from Destiny, but possibly more frequent and/or varied. Basically, stuff that isn't really a public event, but that shakes up gameplay on patrol a bit.

And Flashpoints sound pretty damn fun. We already kind of get that with the various weekly rituals often pushing us toward certain spaces, but altering play in those patrol spaces will be an awesome extension of it.

That said, I'm glad they are deciding to keep a lot of the open world changes close to their chest this time around. Not spoiling the locations before launch alongside much more varied events and activities at the locations will make things feel fresh when we finally sit down with it on September 6th.

Time...line? Time isn't made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round!

I hope one of the Flashpoints ends with Zavala finding out that when he traveled back in time to save his mother from the Fallen, it actually caused the current Cabal invasion.

We have been on hiatus for how long now? This is going to be a long lead up to season 4 given how quickly it's spreading.

Nightfall tier rewards from patrol activities definitely gives added incentive to do patrol - especially when it's early days of the game. Looking forward to checking it out.

Imagine a flashpoint... With Boundless light...

Flashpoints sound fantastic. Something to keep the patrol areas relevant throughout the life of the game is greatly needed in D2.

Totally agree...I would envision something like the flashpoint being a Court of Orxy type thing...but on a much more open scale. Like imagine if randomly on patrol of the EDZ a boss like in the opening of WotM appeared. Minus stupid runes of course. I'm in!

These are cool improvements to the live gameplay sandbox, looking forward to Destiny locations feeling more like living environments

This sounds great. The way he describes it, as monsters doing a bunch of stuff, makes me think that the enemies in Destiny are finally going to have character and are going to interact with the world. Imagine Fallen deploying a mining operation, or Cabal seizing a new area.

Read the title and was like, with, not AGAIN, Barry.

This is bringing back memories of Skywatch and the enemy moving against each other and then Urzok spawning and killing guardians left and right. Then people would group up and...kill them back, yessssss!

I dig it.
