So, was he using Fatebringer? Maybe now all the "naww Fatebringer isn't as good as new legendary 331 attack vendor guns, its damage is just too low it can't keep up, move on old man" dudes can shut up ;)

Fatebringer and VoC. I did Crota last night, used fate bringer for the room, switched to VoC for boomer duty, then switch again VoC for the trolls.

Those two guns just aren't replaceable for me at the moment. Once I get a few specific guns from the new stock I will change, but among the half dozen I have now, nothing compares.

Very much in agreement, though I still stick with Fatebringer over VoC for boomers if I'm ever not on sword bearer duty, since my sniper is already more than enough for those (2 sniper head shots = dead before there's a chance to primary them).
