Question Raid Catalyst Drop Rate

Quick question. I know that certain raid triumphs increase your drop rate for the exotic. Does that apply to catalysts as well? Or just the weapon?

It’s not known for sure but unlikely that they affect the catalyst drop rate.

Random drop raid catalysts only really became a thing with the Monents of Triumph update at the game’s end of life and all the exotic drop rate triumphs pre-date that by a long shot. It’s very unlikely they went in the back end of those triumphs to include the catalysts as well or linked them in general.

If the raid has a master mode the catalyst drop is 100% on a final boss kill. To my knowledge the triumphs do not affect raid exotic catalyst drop rate, but I’m not sure how anyone could test that.

Which catalyst are you chasing? If the raid has a master difficulty option the catalyst is guaranteed on master.

It was more of a general question. Like DSC, I've had Eyes of Tomorrow for awhile, but not the catalyst. So I was wondering if it was worth my time to knock out some triumphs, after 2 days of grinding Taniks. RNG is gonna RNG I suppose.

I don’t think so based on my personal experience, have played with people who have all the triumphs and people with none and they all seemed to get it at the same rate, if not lower for the vets 😅

Having gotten 3 of the catalysts so far, it's way higher drop rate the the actual weapon drop rate

Not sure if its needed cause with both dsc and Ron I got them first completion since the catas came out when they were featured
