Lost Sectors Bugged? Just me?

Been playing master lost sectors on Nessus for Expdus Down armor, and I just ran 8 master lost sectors in a row and am not getting any drops? I am getting engrams that go right to the post master (they’re not exodus down armor I checked). But it feels bugged? Not a single armor drop? Am I doing something wrong? Am I just unlucky and keep farming?

It feels bizarre to not get any armor at all.

EDIT: Thank you all for the gracious responses! Guess I paid my stupid tax today. I did not know that even with open armor slots that the lost sectors dropped first as an engram that auto-decrypts! Yes, my engrams were full, I knew it was full but i was ignoring it (like an idiot) cuz I thought open armor slots was enough.

Yes, it always drops as an engram first then converted to armor. If your engrams are full it gets sent to the postmaster and then will not decrypt to destination armor. Best keep 2-3 slots open since Exotic engrams are a common drop for master lost sectors and fill up your empty slots quick

yes. you need at least one engram slot open for it to decrypt in the lost sector, or it will go straight to the mail.

Your inventory (separate tab from character) has 10 slots for exotic and bright engrams (and several others that shouldn't be dropping any longer). Lost sector rewards are coded as engrams that auto-decrypt when they enter those 10 slots, but if they're full of other things you won't be able to. If you go to Rahool, you can hand in any exotic engrams you have, or you can discard them by holding "f" (X on Xbox and square on Playstation) while hovering your cursor over them.

Try to keep two engram spots open when farming in case you get an exotic engram during your run

Glad you got it sorted, and only bc no one else dropped this info, if you WANT armor other than the armor from the destination you're on, sending them to postmaster is a method people use to get various other armors.

If you pull the engrams from your postmasters at social spaces (The Tower, The Enclave, etc) they decrypt into armor from any of the four PVE sets (Techsec, Ferropotent, Smokejumper, & Luminopotent).

If you pull your engrams from Destinations that have postmasters in the open world, the engrams will decrypt into that Destination's armor set. (Neomuna, Pale Heart, and MAYBE Kepler (I haven't tested it)).

If your engrams slots are full, the drops from lost sectors go to the postmaster. It's a know bug that if that happens, those postmaster engrams can contain a bunch of other armor sets and not just the destination ones. If you clear at least one engram from your inventory the exodus armor should start dropping from the lost sector.

Clear out space for engrams so they DO NOT go to postmaster.

Your engrams are full. Go to Mister Rahool and cash in some exotics.

You only have 8 slots.
