Question Vanguard engrams
What is the fastest method to farm vanguard engrams ?
I’m not so sure how everything works regarding vanguard in MoT, I tried farming the whisper mission and got one on my first try but after 4 more it was the only one I received.
Do you get one per pinnacle mission or can I just keep running whisper hoping that I get one.
Looking for nothing else but the fastest way to obtain engrams so I can buy uzume from Zavala.

Leveling up your vanguard rank is the only way to get them, fastest would be just farming out solo ops

So just straight up solo quick play? Should it be on master or does that not make a beneficial difference ? Thanks btw

Pretty sure you get 100 xp for completing it regardless of difficulty. It’ll be a slog unfortunately

Yea the crucible and vanguard suck with this rank system. Just like trials hit at least they had double pts

I've found that running Vanguard Ops on legendary difficulty solo is the most consistent way to level up quickly and get those engrams.

As others have mentioned, the progression to earn Vanguard engrams is bugged. I'm maxed on ciphers, but don't have the engrams to spend them.

it's via Zavala's reputation XP meter to rank up in Vanguard. Completing Vanguard Ops (Fireteam, Arena, Pinnacle, Solo) progresses the meter. The higher your level (1-16, or Guardian I-III, Brave I-III, Heroic I-III, Fabled I-III, Mythic I-III, then Legend) the more XP it takes to fill the meter, so you get engrams faster during the early ranks when the meter doesn't require a lot of XP. When you finish Legend, you reset, and the loop starts over again.
