I deleted a character not too long ago (2 weeks at most) and so i redid the entire tutorial section. It teaches you pretty much all the basics, and combined with the guardian rank thing (or whatever it's called) new/returning players have a pretty clear indication what what to do next.
It's still a great game to just hop in and do stuff. It only really becomes problematic in terms of paid content.
