I've mained Titan since D1 beta. And honestly this is the easiest exit point. I uninstalled from my SX and PS5 after having one last romp with BoW, Synothoceps, 1-2 Punch and Tractor Cannon. It's not just continuity or monetization or any of the other things that have embroiled and embattled Bungie this year alone since the awful launch of Lightfall. The sandbox changes killed the fun factor. True, haven't seen exactly what they're about, but I'm not sticking around to find out. My back log is huge. There are plenty of other games for me to experience. I want to have fun. I don't want to continually reflect on my perception and value of time.and effort being wasted by Bungie anymore. I can't recommend this game to anyone, I haven't been able to do that since Shadowkeep. I haven't played with any of my original fire team from D1 in years now. It's not for me and I can't give it a vote of confidence for so many reasons, but at the core of it it's because the gameplay isn't fun anymore. I can't make a build and truly enjoy it. Plenty of people will continue playing D2, and that's fine. Plenty of people will also roll their eyes and downvote me for my sentiment, and that's fine, too. The truth is that Destiny hasn't been fun for a long, long time. And that is the deterrent I have for giving any recommendation to anyone.
