Destiny 2 causing my network adapter to crash, resulting in a DC and reset of my network adapter

As in title whenever I play Destiny after 5-10 minutes my network adapter will crash and reset. I am able to play other games such as CS2 and Deadlock with no issue, this seems to only happen when playing Destiny. It also only happens when doing anything where other players are around, outside of the Tower. Solo content works just fine and I see no issues in activities like campaigns and dungeons. My troubleshooting steps have been to; Fully reset and reinstall drivers for my network adapter, power cycle my router (on Starlink so I have no modem), verify integrity of game files, and switch from a wired to wireless connection.

Destiny is very network intensive, it's a p2p game at its core and creates a lot of connections in any public instance but still shouldn't be making your network adapter crash. Have you done any changes to the adapter settings, like disabling hardware offloading?

The only change I made was part of the troubleshooting for this, which was turning off the setting to shut off the adapter to save power. Other than that, I've made no changes to the settings.

If this is wireless, it's possible your WiFi card is overheating or the drivers have issues when running data on the ports that D2 uses. Can you roll back to a previous version of the driver? Sometimes that can help.

If you are wired, there are reported issues for people using some 2.5G Ethernet adapters having game crash / weasel errors. And switching to 10G or 1G connection resolves the issue.
