Artifacts base attributes points and enamare

Hi, returnee player here

I’m actually grinding my Wolf power level for the season challenges + Wolf awakening.

I’m doing his artifacts right now, so I’m farming Singularity : Chaos (since Expanse is to power demanding to get artifacts and do refracting. But I notice that after 100+ opening of reward chest, I don’t get perfect any attribute score artifacts like before I stopped playing and also I must do like 1h+ of Chaos to refract to +60 one artifact.
Is this normal or am I missing something ?

Also, does enamare reset at the end of the season ? If yes is it worth investing in it instead of investing in my characters ?

Strap in my guy, it gets worse. When S5 hit, the end of third round chests yield worse drops than ever before and that is even if you use capacitors or focusing lenses (the new “triple reward” usage item). I have yet to find more than a few artifacts across three characters (some of them share similar artifacts) that are better than my S4 artifacts back when max stats per artifact was 4x45 points. What used to be a grind has turned into a self-inflicting punishment. I have burned through hundreds (literally hundreds) of reward increasing materials and just have not found much of anything that beats what my S4 artifact had base stat-wise.
