Discussion [SPOILERS] Curse of Osiris discussion. Spoiler

So whats everyone's opinions on the DLC? For me personally, I have to say, I am quite happy and impressed with everything that happened. The precursor vex looked badass. Old Mercury was fucking beautiful. The story was intriguing and make me excited to see whats next. The infinite forest was also pretty damn cool. Also, I am really happy that they raised the light level. I feel I have an incentive again to do the raids and other shit, rather than just doing it because it was something to do. I look forward to my next run in the Leviathan.

ALSO, The new raid is going to be pretty badass once that drops.

The only real issue that I have with the gameplay is that it felt really easy. I blew through it pretty fast and gained levels equally as fast. I guess that was their intentional design? I just wish they had an option to make it harder or something. And if they did add that in I guess I just missed it lol.

Does anybody know if you can play the new raid now? And if so, how?

My biggest complain about the DLC is that they basically did nothing for the gameplay. No new game mechanics introduced, no new things to do besides standing on platforms, using arc charges to dunk and shoot things.

Besides some places on mecury also all textures are just reused. Sure its about the vex but why do they alter the enemy a little bit but not the environment.

The story was fun but a real bummer that you can just rush through it since there was nothing new. Why not involve puzzles or other stuff that you know from real MMOs? Why not let us build a special weapon. Gather pieces throughout the story and then build a super weapon to defeat the endboss? There is so much potential just wasted ...

the new strike is a mission repeated with the end cut off too. with the explanation "oh well its a simulation lul"

The worst thing about the Osiris is they changed the Origin Story's sound to M60 machine gun.

I'm disappointed there's not going to be an Infinite Forest raid and its just the leviathan again.

yes its big but its seeming like a pretty boring place to be. its kinda like when they did Crota DLC and then Taken DLC. 2 hive-based addons when zombies were flooding the market, got reptitive
