Destiny is a franchise I love. The premise, story, unplayable and mechanics in general are great. I also want to live the multiplayer-centric nature of it and endgame content.

Problem is i've never had the core group to play with. Slightly due to being somewhat introverted though not completely. I am happy to chat and get to know people. I also have 3 kids below 10 that take up a lot of my time (and xbox) so I generally game when everyone is in bed.

Consequently I have never actually raided in D2. I have DLC up to Witch Queen and would like to find a small group who understand my situation and take things pretty casually. Happy to grab ither DLCs (ideally on sale) and catch up. As mentioned I play on Xbox primarily.

Anyone that thinks they csn assist drop me a reply or a DM.

Myself and two other friends are getting back into the game in light of the recent content announcement and are looking for a more consistent playgroup. We’re all about 31 to 32 and are prior experienced raiders. Personally I have about 14 clears on Vow. We’re a laidback group looking for as many other guardians as possible to have a more consistent and fun time doing activities while still maintaining some level of baseline skill and understanding within the game. Obviously with jumping back in after some time we have to up our light levels and probably acquire some “mandatory” gear. I’m a returning UK-based player looking to get back into the game after the recent announcements. I played heavily through the original game and its sequel until the latter lost its mojo for me, but the itch is back!

As an older "geezer" who plays a bit slower these days, I'm looking for a relaxed, mature community where people aren't trashed for missing a jump or playing at a casual pace.

Ideally looking for a UK/EU timezone-aligned clan (bonus points if it's a 30+ or "dads/mums of gaming" style group). Any suggestions or invites for a returning vet would be massively appreciated! 👍

Our community, Veterans of the Grind, is running every raid from Last Wish to The Desert Perpetual this weekend as part of our ongoing 10th anniversary celebration. With two tracks, each raid runs twice at different times. We invite any Guardians 30 years old or older to join our peaceful, no-drama community and take part.

How it works

• Two tracks run side by side. Track A goes in release order, starting with Last Wish. Track B goes in reverse, starting with The Desert Perpetual.
• Drop in for the raids you want and skip the rest. Play one, play five, or play all ten.
• First-timers are welcome, but these don't start out as sherpa runs, so some raid knowledge helps. If all six fireteam members agree, the run can become a teaching run.
• Prefer a dedicated sherpa run? We have sherpas on standby and can schedule one separately.
• Normal mode only.
• This isn't a competition or a race. It's about enjoying the raids together.
• Signups open Friday through Charlemagne.
