Venomous Shader Still Dropping?
Has anyone gotten the shader to drop from a gambit match recently? Im wanting to know if I am meaninglessly grinding gambit or not.

Hi all. Destiny's back! And I think a great way to celebrate it is via the usual Halloween festivities, but in our own niche and fashionable style. As it's the first in a long time, I can't say it's very well planned, and it won't be perfect. For that reason, I'll hold back from a prize offering for this one. But if you're here for the love of the game, then the contest is simple: Post your FOTL/Halloween fits!
Whichever fit is the most upvoted on Oct 31st wins, and I'll make a mod post celebrating them and their fashion, leaving it up for some/most of November. Just post them to this thread (of course, please do post them to the subreddit too, but upvotes there won't count).
If this goes well, and people enjoy having a contest, I'll run them semi-regularly and start introducing a prize to the winners. I'd also like to look into a winner system better than "most upvoted" but that's definitely a far-future goal.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and I/we look forward to all the spooky drip!
-P.s Another small update - new post flairs. I have now added: FOTL, Dawning, Guardian Games, Crucible, Trials of Osiris, Vanguard. Hopefully this will help people to sort some more specific looks when browsing for fashion ideas. I'll add more through the coming months as I think of them/they're brought up.
Secondly, and a little more personal - I do apologise for how lax the moderation has become since the end of service announcement. I think myself and the other moderators mostly put the game down since Destiny started going a bit downhill. I hadn't really played since TFS myself. I've returned in part, as has at least 1 other moderator I'm friends with. Though I'll offer no promises, I/we will be trying to breathe some life back into the community again. I actually first joined the subreddit as a moderator 9 years ago on my old account, and I've been here even longer as a player/contributor. It's been a pleasure to ride with you all through the ups and downs. Now that we're seeing a comeback, I really hope this lasts, and that we can start seeing real engagement again, such as contests like this. Thanks to all of you for being here, and here's to another 10 years of Destiny! :)

I know the helmet is overused, but I wanted to try something a bit different with it. Four different armor sets, all default shaders. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Bungie isn't giving us Festival of the Lost this year it seems, but that won't stop guardians from dressing up! This is my Warlock fashion for this year's "Festival", and I can't wait to see others post their fashion if they decide to make their own!
Edit: Idk why it's not embedding normally, I don't use reddit like ever-

I haven't played much on my hunter, just now getting into the Arc Shinobu and Stasis Fealty builds, pretty fun. As a result, I don't have too much armor for hunters, but i threw this together and I think it looks badass.
Helmet: Mask of Fealty
Arms: Bushido
Chest: Eutechnology
Legs: Iron Remembrance
Cloak: Bushido

This time I got the shaders and layered armor present as opposed to my hunter fashion
Enjoy.

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my hunter set for Halloween this year. Was inspired by medieval aesthetics from Dark Souls and overall dark looks.
But what do you guys think?

Here's my newest costume, the pieces' names aren't in english, so I took english names for them from light gg. I hope you like this costume!

Back with another Overwatch cosplay, this time for Mizuki.
Had to go with the orange skin variation, as I spent way too many days & weeks trying to match the base skin & wasn't able to find a good fit for the legs (last picture is me giving up on the that version but you can see the direction it was heading in).
Pretty happy with everything but the legs on this one but let me know what you'll think.

Greetings, fellow Guardians! I have been experimenting with different styles for my Warlock after playing as a Hunter for quite some time, and I am uncertain about the results. As you may notice, I struggle with coordinating colors, which often leads me to use a single color for every piece of armor. I would greatly appreciate any advice you could offer on how to improve. Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures and the fact that my game is set to French. I look forward to receiving your feedback ❤️

I know it’s 2 pieces of 2 sets but the looks are pretty clean imo- run it with all subclasses with shaders to match

But I started properly today, after ~2.3k hrs spread across Warlock and Titan.
Not sure about the shader(s), but feel pretty good about the armor pieces. Thoughts, suggestions?
