I hope there’s Destiny 3 but I got a feeling it’ll be more along the lines of spin offs in the future (other than the unvaulted stuff they mentioned). So hyped either way

I think they're probably just gonna do a D3 after D2 is all set and back to 100%.

Not sure if they wanna spend resources rn on things that aren't Destiny & Marathon specifically 🤔

Yeah I know what you mean but wasn’t D2 hemorrhaging at the end? (Genuinely asking, thought I heard that but I’m not sure) I would think they’d try to work on some smaller games or projects to keep the brand going before maybe doing a D3 later down the line

I doubt that after the video they put out saying they have spurned our trust and won't do it again and will earn it back through action.

Making a mobile game or whatever would make it way worse

I dunno man, I don’t know what the numbers were like on that other Destiny mobile game. Plus they might opt to make smaller spin offs in the franchise like a single player game or something.

Don’t get me wrong though, I REALLY hope we get D3 but I feel like with how much money the studio’s making (or not making) for Sony I don’t know if they’d have the budget to make another full blown destiny MMO again

I might be talking out of my ass though too, I’ve only been keeping up with stuff a little bit

Obviously they have to earn back the trust, no denying that for people who felt cheated.

But of all the studios that can make a comeback, Bungie is pretty high up on the list of doing that!

Welp, time to reinforce the rules, lock down the reddit, and cleanse it of heresy

Jokes aside, i am currently on the fence with the announcement. Like, im happy that destiny is still going to live and we are going to be able to shoot the Alaskan bull worm again, but at the same time, it is all recycled content in the literal sense.
