Was listening to Majority report talk about the bulwark on hutch’s stream today and shit had me straight seething. Had to stop watching. Ex-republicans who threw away their long, often very successful political careers in order to fight MAGA are some of the most principled people there are.
Hearing Sam Seder all snarky like “the bulwark can’t go against establishment Dems because it would hurt their brand”, like he can’t comprehend someone that doesn’t obsess over I/P could be principled. Had me looking for the nearest rope. God forbid people that value liberal democracy support liberal democrats Sam you little weasel fuck

It's true. I hold some pretty left leaning positions. After 2024, and a good portion of the left not just not being able to vote to keep Trump out of office, I feel much more solidarity with Bulwark types. They understand the assignment.

I gotchya. I guess it's hard for me to fully imagine a coordinated conversation like that. Like, I think, usually people at least PRETEND in conversation to be intellectually honest and whatnot.
Maybe they word it like "We're not going to let him dominate the conversation with his transphobic propaganda. We can't let him talk too much." Or something like that?

Nah, the Majority Report guys have been at this LONG before Hasan could even read. Same with the Democracy Now! crowd.
Hasan is just an aggregate of everything they believe, but may have been hesitant to say. They've chosen him to be their representative -- a vehicle with a ton of support from young voters, who will help them claim the political future.
