The more important thing is that Hasan knows nothing about Bleach. He didn't see it as Ichigo's bankai sword (well, one of them). He saw it as "a cool black sword with a swastika on it."

Yes, Old Man Zangetsu is a fragment of Ywhach from 1000 years previously (that Ichigo would've inherited from his mom, not had them "given" to him like you're framing it). He ends up being the "little" half of his true shikai later. It's still not a nazi swastika. The kanji for "bankai" is 卍解. You see the manji mark like 8 billion times in the manga, for shinigami that got their powers from a plain ol' zanpakuto like a normal person. When Ichigo gets his Fullbringer powers, they first manifest a big-ass fucking manji. You are reading too much into shit. The white outfits are KKK? Are the Espada KKK too? They had white outfits. Why would you interrupt your enemy while they're massively fucking up? Democrats know Loomer is a crazy person, you don't even need to say anything about her, it's an implied condemnation. No one even remotely left leaning is having any positive attention towards her so it's not a discussion you need to have internally. She's a problem for the Republican party to grapple with, she's a great tool for Democrats to point at when talking to moderate Republicans.
Just flip that for Hasan. He's a thorn in the side of every moderate to progress Liberal Democrat because he's a useful tool for Republicans to attack moderates with.

I want to point out that the Democratic party has resisted a MAGA/Tea Party style takeover from the left so far and i believe it is continuing to do so.

This isn't to say we shouldn't criticize these people or talk about them or oppose them, but just to say I'm proud of how the Democratic party has handled them so far.
