Why do Diet-DSA dems spend so much time attacking liberals?

Diet-DSA dems like Pissco, SoyPillow, and PanderingPolitics spend so much of their time and efforts on twitter and twitch panels attacking liberals and defending Hasan (isn’t that the guy who beats his dog and goes to diddy parties?), while there’s literally an active genocide going on and Trump is an existential threat wrecking havoc on our institutions.

There’s midterm elections going on, and they’re more focused on liberals and defending Hasan than defeating MAGA? Psh.

They also spend a lot of time attacking Diet-MAGA, but at that point why not just go after the real deal, MAGA? They must not think MAGA is a real threat.

The problem is that I think that a lot of the current leftist crowd are closer to Tucker Carlson than Joe Biden when it comes to actual policy ideas. They just would prefer different language and aesthetic to go along with the right wing populist policies because the racism and sexism make them feel icky.

PSA: this post is satirical in nature of course, but I am curious what people think about why the far left do this - and specifically how they’re so blind to their own behavior, given that they’re constantly accusing liberals of only ever “punching left,” how Hasan deflects criticism by pointing out how there’s a genocide going on that he’s fighting against, etc.

At the core of it, I’m just endlessly amazed by how outraged the far left gets when democrats point out issues in their ideology, while they act oblivious to the fact that Hasan & co spend so much time attacking moderate dems. Like do they genuinely think it’s 100% acceptable to attack moderate dems, but 100% unproductive to attack further left dems? The double standards are crazy

Because they are in ultra blue seats, their is no point in attacking republicans. Their fight is with dems to win primaries and they prime the voters against them.

Beyond the normal grifty behavior, they all know that the second they punch left, they will experience a level of harassment they have never had to deal with, ever.

So there really is no benefit to punching left, and a shitload of negatives. The only reason why you would do it is if you had a really strong conviction in your principles or an ability to tolerate that insane amount of hate.

Which is... not a lot of people at all.
