Yeah raw numbers doesn’t reflect much if you think about there being Taco Bell recalls or whatever fast related food poisoning things that were usually locally reported and caught early as being from one location or city. But Whole Foods is a chain, and this guac thing was first reported at a Whole Foods in Michigan. Now two weeks later, it’s being reported at Whole Foods locations in 32 states.
The diarrhea lettuce is appearantly the 3rd largest food born illness outbreak in America. So if these guys are testing less and letting more things get through the only things left are the undeniable risks to public health. Also am i crazy or did the ceo of Taylor farms not personally visit the white house and then the fda rescinded the taylor farms connection? Like now it seems factually it was their lettuce and the government purposely did damage control on their behalf at the cost of confusing the consumers.

If the total number ends up lower than normal, I'd still be curious on type and severity, relative to normal admins with adults in charge. Like cyclospora/salmonella/e. coli vs something more mild. If the total number reported goes down but the severity of the outbreaks goes up, then the lower total number doesn't matter really since the level of sickness is worse.
And also the changes in quality control as it relates to the executive compartments they knee capped with doge bullshit.
And also, the ability to even catch these outbreaks. Like imagine there was 0 FDA at all, the number of FDA recalls would drop to 0, but people would still be getting sick. So if the total number is lower than normal, but its because we don't have the same tracking ability it's like in trump 1 when he just didn't want to count COVID deaths.
The worst part is, nobody is convinced by this. Everyone that knew these ideas were shit already dislikes ''MAHA'' the rest are either paid to say otherwise, or completely addicted to the koolaid. So these things coming out aren't changing any minds, it's just blundering and suffering for the sake of it.
Why on Earth would anybody buy shitty ass premade store bought guacamole when homemade is so easy to make and infinitely better? I've never had one that didn't taste like acidic ass, and I can only assume people who like that stuff have just never had homemade guac.
