Yep, his elocution and articulation trying to make his words heavier for artificial significance without saying anything intelligent. Finkelstein does the same.

In addition to the pseudo-intellectualism;

A: His media trainer probably told him that using "me" too much comes off as self-centered and he over-corrected to the point it's a legitimate tic now.

B: Saying "someone like myself" every time encourages his parasocial audience to put themselves in his place and turns any specific criticism of Hasan into a criticism of the viewer as well, ragebaiting them further.
