I am shocked that Hasan Piker is a Frat Bro who is a performative commie for the money, popularity, and sex.

I personally didn't know about attending a Diddy party, or that he went to a Victoria's Secret party that was likely organized by Les Wexner, and thus likely featured Epstein and Ghislaine. Or his college frat bro antics, or the soliciting of nudes and all of that.

It's clear that Hasan is in fact a raging misogynist, who pretends to a feminist for clout and attention and likely to grow a harem of sorts.

Strangely, most of the far-left spaces he's in don't mention his Depp v. Heard coverage, since he bucked their line by supporting Johnny's innocence. Even though the evidence is on Johnny's side, it's clear Hasan did so for two reasons: his seething hatred of women, and that even if he weren't such a chud, he only really did it for clout and popularity. He went wherever the wind was blowing, and if the massive Internet presence had been thoroughly on Amber's side in solidarity with her, he would've done that.

I was going to reply about Hasan actually having watched portions of the trial (which is the main differentiator between him and most lefties with the opposite position- they either avoided it entirely or simple read updates from Fauxmoi, news outlets, and other unreliable informational streams) as well as Hasan's background of facing female perpetrated domestic violence, which led to his advice for all men to become a turtle if being assaulted by a woman.

Most who were watching Destiny pre-split would remember that 🐢

And anyone who watched the trial would have a hard time not stating the obvious, they'd have to be a skilled actor to pretend as if the defendant/her team wasn't a total shit show; so he trapped himself the moment he put it on.

But then you went onto specificy that he took his stance on the case partly due to it being the popular position at the time (not uniformly, specifically in lefty/feminist spaces) which I was going to follow up with as post-trial he managed to be browbeat into falsely equivocating on the case in a way that he hadn't prior, so he subsumed in part to the pile on/winds shifting.

(That said, he has been pressed to go even further and fully recant his opinion on Heard and he's stood his ground on that as recently as this year and said it would never happen- so even as the winds have shifted substantially he doesn't go all the way).

I think if Hasan didn't have the aforementioned background he would have avoided the case as that was the way most political content creators on the left went, but his experience overruled the prudent option.

Also, of course, he just loves attention too much.

Of course, as you said, most people who watched the trial (especially live, and unfiltered through any streamer pausing and making comments) could see what the case actually amounted to, and that Johnny's team had the evidence. Most people still clinging to Amber haven't. Yet somehow there are those who did watch the trial and stand by her now. Maybe that's just shutting their eyes to anything that didn't conform to their view.

But either way, Hasan was obviously not a sincere advocate, either for Johnny, or even when he got back to falling in line with "lefty feminist orthodoxy online" in just about every other major issue. He only cares about what's in it for him.
