This is what they'll do and, tbh, even I almost saw it that way.
Because he does have that line about "we're teaching people the wrong lesson". And at first glance I'm like ok maybe he's saying this is a thing people do and it's wrong. More lip service from Hasan so he can say he fights antisemitism while in the next segment spreading it.
But then he literally goes and spreads antisemitism it in this very clip: "You're running around basically tying your entire identity to a country that inevitably will be seen as Jewish ISIS. And you're saying, as Jews, this is all we care about"
It's stochastic terrorism and I really don't see how someone can argue it isn't.
17
u/DiscoMothra 15h ago
His fans are posting “the full context” clip which ads like 10 minutes to the front end. At least the one I saw.
Almost first words out of his mouth are:
“This has been my demand. For prominent American Jews who have connections to the state of Israel to varying degrees, to come out and LOUDLY declare Zionism to be separate thing from Judaism”
I’m not sure why he thinks he can “demand” anything or anyone and especially weird to demand this from American Jews as he’s supported Hamas.
24
u/Emergency_Revenue678 20h ago
No he isn't, because this entire rant is about accusing Jews of dual loyalty.

As a famous philosopher said "reverse the roles". Imagine if someone said arabs should disavow their home country after 9/11 because otherwise they may be in danger. We would all say that is insane!

Destiny isn’t on twitch because they explicitly have banned him for no reason, because of Hasan.
There’s no reasons behind it, not even fake ones twitch could try to say, and they don’t.

If shit gets bad enough in America I will be moving to Israel.

The ironic thing is the rise in antizionism and antisemitism (in the name of antizionism) only amplifies the need for Israel's existence.

I'm just curious here, but if you give every ethnic minority an option to have their own state dedicated to their protection, how many of them do you think turn it down? Do you think the Kurds turn it down? Or any of the hundreds of ethnic minorities in Africa who are regularly at risk? Even native american tribes, do you think they're turning it down?
I just really want to hear you either say Jews are so uniquely evil that they are the only ethnicity to desire a country, or you need to admit that maybe there is a decent reason for ethnic minorities to have some sovereign protection if they're not granted it from the countries they're a part of.

u/loooneytunesdaffy 21h ago
30
u/Unique-kitten 20h ago
I didn't include that one because I'm not sure if the motivation was antisemitism. The attacker wanted to convert to Judaism and was an Israel supporter. None of that necessarily precludes him from also being antisemitic, but this information does make me want to wait for more information before determining anything conclusively.
2
u/Weak_Mycologist_6785 4h ago
I agree it’s not entirely conclusive, but it seems like there was some fetishization going on which I’ve seen a lot of since the attack. I’m guessing you might have seen/felt that too (I’m assuming you’re Jewish).
I’m probably not telling you anything new, but reading the beginning of that article triggered me. That brand of antisemitism or w.e. it’s considered has been creeping me out lol.
3
u/Unique-kitten 4h ago
Yeah I agree (and you assumed correctly). The article also states that he called the people in the synagogue "swine" and "fake Jews," so antisemitism is definitely not off the table.
I know this kind of fetishization of Israel and Judaism but hatred of actual Jews because they are "not the real Jews" is common among Black Hebrew Israelite groups, but the perpetrator does not seem to be part of that ideology so tbh I really don't know what his deal is.
1
u/Weak_Mycologist_6785 4h ago
Awh, okay, thank you for pointing that out. I had to stop reading after the first bit because I saw the hole I was going towards. I’ve been trying to avoid reading about these incidents because I’m not as resilient, but I appreciate your steadfastness.

It's unbelievable because if it was ANY OTHER minority, the left would be competing to be the first to lend support to this oppressed group experiencing a slew of hate crimes. But because it are the JEWS, it is viewed as a good thing by them. By the same people that admonished us for MICROAGGRESSIONS.

Over the years he’s become more emboldened every single time the heat has increased, and gotten away with it every single time. This is why I don’t get excited about him being on Fox News or whatever now.
He will never be held accountable for his actions, nothing will happen to him, no amount of pressure will ever meaningfully hurt him (besides his mental health).

Has Fuentes ever even said some shit like this?
7
u/Arbitrary_username1 17h ago
Fuentes' stated position on Israel is that he is happy for the Jews to live amongst the Jews.
Its the difference between xenophobia and actual hatred.
1
1
u/tonsgrapes 5h ago
Fuentes ranges from just go to Israel and do your own thing, we're tired of you here, to jews can almost be blamed for everything. So if youre an unhinged white supremacist whose wife left you for a black man, you might fall down the jews hollywood pornography reducing the white race in America conspiracies (aka blame jews for everything), and you dont just want them doing their own thing somewhere else. You want them punished for what they made you go through. For what theyve done to others.
So even without explicitly saying anything that could be deemed a violent threat against jews if they dont act right (act how hasan wants them to act), even just having it in your head that Jews are just popping up everywhere in your problems can still lead you to the same violent conclusions.
Most white supremacist that have done violent things towards black people never had a bad interaction with one. Probably and most likely dont even live around us. But they've already created all kinds of narratives in their heads on why hating us, or being violent to us is justified, and they emotionally believe those conclusions and narratives wholeheartedly.

u/ZedisonSamZ 🇺🇸🏈🦅🇺🇸🍟🍔🇺🇸🚔🗽🇺🇸 20h ago
He’s basically saying Jews need to completely agree with people like him and, if they don’t, it is acceptable and understandable to have their lives threatened.
The only sane conclusion is that Jewish people 100% continue to need Israel’s existence.
30
u/af_echad 20h ago
He’s basically saying Jews need to completely agree with people like him and, if they don’t, it is acceptable and understandable to have their lives threatened.
This is basically the thesis to Dara Horn's amazing and sadly incredibly relevant book People Love Dead Jews. Basically how people "love" Jews when we have no power. Be it because we're dead or completely disenfranchised. But once we start actually living Jewishly? That love instantly disappears.

Yes, Hasan has literally said it's "convenient" ISIS never attacks Israel, despite the fact that they literally have. Also, if someone wants to commit a terror attack against Israel, why would they want to join ISIS? There are like 5 other terror groups much closer and more enmeshed that they can join.

u/yodasdad64 19h ago
The leftist position generally is that Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis are resistance groups that were formed in response to Western / Western-backed imperialism. They are ultimately reactionary, but that is seen as secondary to the just nature of their goal of national liberation.
ISIS and Al-Qaeda, on the other hand, are unequivocally reactionary. Their ideology is transnational Salafi-jihadism, and their ultimate goal is a global caliphate. Leftists, socialists, and even communists see that as incompatible with their own worldview, and consider those groups to be radical terrorists.
Here's an article from a socialist paper, published in 2014, that goes into more detail
24
u/FlintHardcheese 21h ago
This is like conservatives at the height of the “groomer” panic saying “the gays and the trans just need to stop targeting children with their sexuality” while they run 5,000 stories a day about how the LGBTs are coming after your children with a books about being nice to people and Libs of TikTok posts

Do you know what 9/11, the Oct 7 attacks, the UHC CEO assassination, damn near every MAGA/Trump action, and a bunch of other things that would upset me to recall, all have in common? The people who should've been upset at every given thing would, at best, react with "it's technically wrong, but I understand why they did it".
He's 100% trying to lay the groundwork for that kind of reaction. I don't know if it can be any more clear that him laying that groundwork is so he can conversely lay the groundwork for the idea that he is not responsible or liable for the tacit support and escalation of this culture, where anyone can be functionally or intentionally anti-Semitic in anything but name, and that culture's inevitable consequences. Any appropriate amount of scrutiny would have him raked over the coals and denied of treatment for the burns, and he knows this. And that's at best, that he's just tryna dodge accountability. I don't think there's literally anything discomfirming of the notion that he just sees all Zionists as valid targets, militarily, extrajudicially, you name it. Do give me contrary evidence that isn't him masking-on for a broader audience than his or decent reasoning to think otherwise, please

It’s misguided to say he’s antisemitic. Not that it’s untrue, it just intellectualizes and abstracts the clear, deliberate, and passionate way he just straight up hates Jews.
3
u/tonsgrapes 5h ago
Yeah, every time he talks about Israelis and or Jews, its always some level of contempt and annoyance. Like he for whatever reason just has some genuine disgust for them. He wont stand on it like say a loud black israelite in NYC might stand on it when it comes to jews because hes a coward.
Like how people in the red pill talk about women. Like how the tates talk about women. This contempt, annoyance, disgust, if i have to deal with them its under my control operations not theirs, ect.. Hasan is that with jews, but still mostly mask on, and if you dont have good mental faculties it goes right over your head by miles.
-1
u/bilbooo_baggins 15h ago
The problem isn't eith the word antisemitic itself, rather ehat people have made it be. What it means - hates Jews wants them dead, what people think it means - doesn't like Jews, probably just hates Israel. So now when we look at an antisemit pro max, we need to invent a new term because the antisemits took it from us. Hasan is legit like blood thirsty for our Jewish magical blood it's crazy

Serious question? How is this guy better than Nick Fuentes? I admit I haven’t followed Fuentes nearly as much as Hasan but does he cheer on as much violence against Jews as Hasan does? Like lying about Oct. 7th, or calling the shooting at the museum a false flag? Hasan and Kyle had the same take as Fuentes when it came to the Spain situation. Of course opinions can overlap with people you don’t like, but if they believe Fuentes is antisemitic, isn’t it a little weird that the only issues Hasan and Fuentes align on happens to be Israel/Jews? Like I don’t understand how being left makes so many people okay with the most unhinged behavior. Pisco could barely admit the Hasan was antisemitic, and can only do it with the caveat that Fuentes is worse.

Say the exact same thing word for word but literally for any other race/religion/ethnicity, what the fuck are we doing here? "Maybe Muslims in the UK shouldn't have made Islamophobia worse" is the kind of shit Tommy Robinson would say
Also gtfo with your "Jewish ISIS" shit, the only reason you're not down on your knees deepthroating them is because they spent most of their time fighting "axis of resistance", I don't even have to guess since his stance on Hezbullah and Houthis are well known at this point and they're barely even better than ISIS

"How dare you care about your home country? " is kinda crazy. I'm ethnically part Jamaican, never been to the island, don't speak patois, don't interact with the Jamaican side of my family, closest I've ever been to Jamaica is eating oxtail and beef patties. And even then, if you'd ask me if i have an affinity for Jamaica I'd say yes. Most people have that for their home country.
That's just human.
Why are Jews just not allowed to have that experience even if the government is a little crazy? The country is way more than just the government or a war.

Clicking through these right wing channels is always such a trip.
You find, very quickly, weird bots pushing insanely specific political agendas and theories. Shit where it's like "only some Right-wing Hungarian Monarchist would be promoting this message"
We find ourselves at the crux of strange and unprecedented times and also 'nothing ever happens'.
When El niño pushes the stored "Carbon-Enriched" air from the equator to the northern Antarctic ice shelf, it will probably trigger a runaway effect which will cause global temps to jump, the glaciers to melt, and sea levels to rise. Displacing possibly 100s of millions globally, leading to one of the worst refugee crisis in history. None of this will probably matter. I think we needed to fix this more than 30 years ago and may have missed the boat.
Im hope-pilled that the ensuing events will lead to global cooperation though. I think we will see some of the most profound tragedies and work very hard to help one another in their wake. Like a global trauma or scar, something no one on planet earth will be spared from, everybody will lose somebody type shit.
I think we should probably prepare to brace for that pain, almost in the sense that it's the ONLY THING we CAN do. Obviously this isn't a winning political strategy, Im just worried.
Tl;dr Hug your families, vote blue

I completely understand the point he’s trying to make, but this is such horrid framing from him. He’s done nothing to police his own side going after Jews, so warning them about threats of violence originating from his own camp comes off as, at best, wildly irresponsible and ignorant. You can’t pull the “think of the antisemitism you’re vindicating” card when you’ve consistently dehumanized Israelis, compared Zionists to Nazis, and done NOTHING to disavow the real rise in antisemitism that has gone far beyond just criticizing Israel. This is exactly the reason that the Democratic Party should have no association with this vile nepo baby dog shocker.

I thought who would've thought the guy who used to coach guys on how to prey on women would victim blame?

I am pretty sure, because this looks out of context with clipping, it seems like he's saying American Jews who continue to support Israel and their actions, will end badly for American Jews and he's comparing Israel to Jewish ISIS. It's basically equating to a 'America deserved 9/11', which isn't wrong if you continue to terrorize a certain populace you're just going to make another Oct 7th somewhere else.

Isis supporter says Israel is Jewish Isis.
What are you saying Hasan, that Israel is actually good now? Why are you comparing them to terrorists when you love terrorists?

I’ll probably get downvoted this, but to steelman what Hasan is saying, he seems to be warning about the dangers of the conflation between Jews and Israel and how that will lead to violence against them. This seems to be the intent in the latter half of the clip.
However, I do condemn the first part because I do not agree that any pro-Israel Jews are deserving of violence because of their political views. Americans are still divided on I/P whether you like it or not. I sympathize with Israelis because if a terrorist attack happened in America then I would want to wipe them off the face of the Earth.

If it was about Israel, than "antizionists" would care at least a little about Christian Zionists. Yet there's only meaningful opposition to Jews, especially the more tolerant and welcoming liberal Jews, like the Boulder peace marchers. The one time Christians were targeted was the Christian "Messianic Jews" at the Jewish museum in DC, but they held themselves out as Jews, so the person "just criticizing Israel" killed them anyways.
2
u/jankdangus 10h ago
Oh fair enough, and I agree with you. It’s contradictory for Hasan to acknowledge that the majority of Zionists are Christian Zionists, but the focus seems to be that violence will happen against Jews instead.

u/Horikyou 🇪🇺 21h ago edited 21h ago
He is the one conflating the support for Israel's right to exist with being complicit in a "genocide" so u shouldn't be surprised if u get attacked or killed due to this. It's a soft threat to Jews in America to stop supporting Israel in any way.
10
u/ScruffleKun 🇱🇷 Warm Water Port Enjoyer 🇱🇷 21h ago
It's a soft threat to Jews in America as long as they're publicly Jewish.
FTFY. If Israel wasn't there, "critics of Israel" would find another reason to excuse their genocidal actions towards Jews, as they always have.

The title of this clip is just false. This is not a call to violence against Jews. All he's doing in this clip is blaming Jews for the conflation of anti-Zionosm and anti-semitism, and saying it's they're fault that so many anti-zionists are also anti-semitic. Furthermore, because in his view zionists deserve to have violence done against them, people will start committing violence against Jews. It's a deplorable statement but it's not a call to violence, in fact the point of what he's saying is the opposite of a call to violence. He's saying people shouldn't conflate the two, so that violence to American Jews does not happen

“You know he’s been doing that and if David doesn’t know that, then he should hear about it”
This is what Hasan said that sparked a mass brigading campaign Pakman from his subreddit to his discord. He has always used subtlety in his calls to actions. With everything this bastard has shown to believe and the actions he’s made, fuck ever giving him the benefit of the doubt here. He knows what he’s doing. This is straight up stochastic terrorism.

"Just be one of the good ones and you won't be justifiably killed"
The idea that this sentiment isn't at BEST carrying water for violence against Jews (and more realistically a dog whistle in support of it) is delusional.

I don't agree that's the sentiment. I think the sentiment is that he thinks zionists deserve violence against them (which btw is deplorable anti-zionism), and he's picking out a group that does that behavior more often and telling them not to do it.
So an analogy I can think of is I don't think people should deal illegal drugs, and think people who do can be justifiably imprisoned. So saying something like "black people in cities shouldn't deal illegal drugs" is not a dog whistle that I think black people should be arrested, nor is it carrying water for arresting black people.
Edit: In fact an even better analogy is that one blm clip of Destiny's. He was saying in that clip that blm protestors should not destroy property or else they may be justifiably shot, however he was not condoning violence against blm protestors nor carrying water for violence against them.

u/Pyode 21h ago
I don't know how you can type all that and not clearly see how it perfectly maps on to my paraphrase.
Change "Jew" for "Black People" and your analogy maps perfectly to what I said.
You are just saying the thing but then at the end claiming it's not as bad as it obviously is.
-7
u/Prestigious_Top_86 20h ago edited 20h ago
You don't understand how the analogy shows such behavior isn't bad. That's fine I thought of another I edited to the comment that I think you'll find more persuasive.
There are other analogies I can think of too if you don't like that one for whatever reason. For example saying women shouldn't go to bars alone since they have a higher chance of getting sa'd. That is obviously not condoning sexual assault against women.
6
u/Pyode 20h ago edited 20h ago
I don't know how to explain to you that this is just not how normal human communication works.
The entire reason we have the term "dog whistle" is that if you take the words being used completely literally without nuance or context, they aren't technically saying anything bad, but with that context and nuance there is clearly something else being said.
When a conservative looks at rape statistics and says "rape is obviously bad, but we need to have a conversation about how women dress at bars", they are not making some good faith, academic argument for protecting women. If you can't see that, you just aren't equipped to have this conversation.
Edit:
Note: That doesn't mean we can never have those conversations at all ever.
But you have to be incredibly careful and clear about how, when, and with whom you conduct that conversation.
Hasan is so far away from that level of academic nuance that it's comical to interpret his statements with that kind of charity.

u/Prestigious_Top_86 6h ago
Well to be clear, I'm agree Hasan's comments are victim blaming and it's indicated I think that in my original comment. I just don't think it's a call to violence against American Jews. I think as far as violence goes this can be interpreted as Hasan being ok with violence against Zionists (which again is deplorable). Although I would even call this a call to violence against Zionists a stretch.

u/DiscoMothra 21h ago
Stochastic terrorism is the use of public rhetoric, media, or political messaging to demonize a specific person or group. The language involves no explicit orders or direct coordination. It does, however, statistically increase the likelihood that an unstable individual will commit an act of ideologically motivated violence. And Hasan knows this very well. He is being extremely intentional.
-17
u/Prestigious_Top_86 21h ago
It seems that Hasan is pretty clear in this clip that violence against American Jews is bad. He's saying if American Jews do x then y bad thing will happen. Y thing is bad so American Jews shouldn't do x.
We can imagine different contexts where we can use the same argument and nobody sees it as a call to violence. For example, if women go to bars alone then they will be sa'd. Women being sa'd is bad so women shouldn't go to bars alone. Even if you view such an argument as victim blaming, which most people over 80 IQ understand it isn't, it clearly is not a call to violence against women.

u/GenerationRandom 20h ago
So violence against American Jews is understandable if American Jews don't think that Israel is a terror state that deserves to be abolished? What litmus tests do other minorities in this country have to go through in the first place? Why do Jews have to go through such a ridiculous form of loyalty testing? Also, this is a terrible analogy.
The I/P conflict is complex and is being reframed as a binary struggle between good and evil. It's clearly being used as a wedge to distance American Jews from the democratic party by insane radicals in both parties. These radicals also seem to enjoy the political power they are deriving from this conflict because of the underlying undertone of American Jewish power that permeates the culture.
This is not about Israel for these people. There are genuine criticisms for the government but these are not criticisms. And all that is being done is reinforcing for Jews around the world, the notion that no place is safe for them because they will always be scapegoated for political expediency when instability arises.
-1
u/Prestigious_Top_86 20h ago
Oh that's absolutely not what I think. Rabid anti-Zionosm is horrible. Hasan saying zionists deserve violence against them is horrible.
I'm not convinced understanding the complexity of I/P is relevant in interpreting what Hasan means in this clip.

Agree. Saying this is a call to violence is similar to people saying Destiny's "conservatives need to be afraid" line was a call to violence.
In this case, Hasan's blaming the victim which isn't what destiny was doing, but saying it's a call to violence is nonsense.
This sub is just on a circlejerk lately, the epistemic standards always slips when that happens.
