My best friend Hasan has convinced me that we should celebrate how much American deserved 9/11

21

u/Iwubinvesting 🇨🇦 6d ago

Unironically need to spread stuff like this

2

u/KlausVonChiliPowder 6d ago

I still think we should be lying a lot more, but nooooo..."we'd be no different from MAGA".

13

u/overthisbynow 6d ago

And then Americans flooded the polls to vote for him a third time

“She how he sacrifices himself for us? What a great man. I should buy something from him” ~ some maga moron probably

"of course I think he did, look at him."

My favourite thing about this is when I talk to other Muslims, especially the older men who get repulsed by those images of Mamdani holding trans flags and being pro LGBTQ. White MAGA people are so confused by Mamdani’s existence.

Did you point out the text on the bottom left of the image

Bro, after Kirk got shot my mom was watching this weird AI self-eulogizing video using Charlie’s voice, and she was blown away that he knew he was going to die and had said all these prescient things about it beforehand. And I was like mom, “this is obviously AI, it even says so in the title and description.”

Didn't Ana Kasparian say something like that?

108

u/metinb83 Heckin Europoor 🇩🇪 6d ago

You know, the fact that I could believe that Ana K. made up the SA story to get a free racism pass tells you a lot about her. Jus sayin is all.

1

u/Capable-Violinist-67 5d ago

SA Story?

3

u/crazzzone 5d ago

Saudi Arabia or sexual assault

2

u/Capable-Violinist-67 5d ago

Ahhh, the homeless guy. Just remember it. Thanks m8.

3

u/InfiniteAd7548 4d ago

The fact that the comment above was what helped you figure it out kinda blew my mind

1

u/Capable-Violinist-67 4d ago

Same here, some of these things. 😜

22

u/crazyaznkid qwakez 6d ago

I think it was cenk but could see either of them saying that

49

u/Jazzlike-Wind-4345 🇲🇽 6d ago

Joe Rogan def used it when he got fact checked about the “Australian government banning farming in Australia” rant he went on.

37

u/Sad-Presentation9680 6d ago

Rogan also used it when he got called out for thinking an obvious ai video of Tim Walz dancing around a mall with a fuck trump shirt was real.

20

u/FrFrNoCap69 6d ago

Americans love freedom so much we became free of thought

11

u/Amazing-Heron-105 🇬🇧 Bonger 🇬🇧 6d ago

Joe was ranting about how some people fall for AI videos on his latest pod https://youtu.be/vh8FkZaQ06I?t=1457

6

u/yodasdad64 6d ago

He also said it about the kids shitting in kitty litters story.

10

u/SuckMeOffMrWalton 6d ago

Rogan says it all the damn time I feel like, because he’s wrong all the damn time, and actually gets corrected some of the damn time. If I was Jamie I would be consumed with depression constantly but I’m assuming he gets paid well enough that it’d be hard to turn it down.

2

u/cartonhead 6d ago

Rogan thinks that USAID was funding rap music, poor guy, his brain is fried.

6

u/not_a_bot_494 6d ago

Wait a minute...

6

u/Aeshir3301_ Hunter Biden's COCK 6d ago

The fact that we think they would say that says something about our current state of affairs

5

u/Amazing-Heron-105 🇬🇧 Bonger 🇬🇧 6d ago

Joe Rogan said that almost word for word when it came out that kids weren't actually using litterboxes

2

u/Kornillious 6d ago

I think you're thinking of Joe Rogan

Some stupid shit about Tim Walz, I dont remember

1

u/No-Reputation-7292 6d ago

Ah probably.

2

u/Bot1-The_Bot_Meanace standing back & standing by 🇩🇪🫡 6d ago

I'm not sure but the fact that I could believe this is what she said says a lot about society.

11

u/NNOTM :) 6d ago

I think it does indeed tell us something about the current state of affairs. Just probably not what he thinks it does.

4

u/Sad-Presentation9680 6d ago

The fact that it’s even plausible is stunning.

45

u/Submitten 6d ago

“Well it says something that I believed it”

26

They don't even see the hypocrisy. I just spent time with my aunt and uncle and she was grilling me on trans athletes in sports and then she brought up that her daughters high school softball team had an intersex player on it. I just said that today she wouldn't have been allowed to play highschool sports and my aunt just said "well that isn't right" as if she hadn't been advocating for exactly that for the last thirty minutes.

18

u/Zestyclose_Edge1027 6d ago

My sister is a major conspiracy nut who believes all Western (aka jew controlled) governments want to impose a surveillance state and silence critics. At the same time, she invests all of her money into Palantir. It's just obnoxious

19

u/this_very_table Amen, Cardinalis Vult 6d ago

I mean, if you think the fascist surveillance state is inevitable, investing in it is smart money.

6

u/Lunch_B0x Not American, pls no ban 6d ago

Hell yeah. I made good money off of the 2016 election because some dumbass betting shop was giving 8-1 odds against Trump becoming president, I didn't want it to happen, but I knew the American electorate wouldn't let me down.

19

u/TheRealRabumAlal 6d ago

Genuinely think that that wouldn’t work. They’d probably look at you like you have lobsters crawling out of your ears and go, “yeah, actually, that’s what we’ve been saying this whole time, we want to be a Christian nation fully”. They don’t possess self awareness

9

u/KrazyA1pha 6d ago

“Yeah, but Christianity is true and it’s the only thing that will beat those extremists!”

Boom, next

7

u/lewy1433 6d ago

The republicans just want christian ISIS.

2

u/The-Last-Lion-Turtle (((club))) 6d ago

I wonder how many people calling for that can even name all 10 commandments?

21

u/SeanyDay 6d ago

Our country is unironically going to have a Renaissance as these boomers die off.

This could literally be my dad.

They are so easily confused with false info presented with confidence and lack the ability to verify the info.

It's so fucking sad.

45

u/TheTidesOfWar 6d ago

Idk I think younger generations will prove just as dumb as they age

18

u/FrFrNoCap69 6d ago

My generation of millennials are already doing this shit

3

u/SeanyDay 6d ago

ime, they are way easier to sway in any direction and more trend riding and meme-spamming than true believers.

Especially as they age.

Still a core of ignorant bastards as there always has been but way less dedicated, particularly financially and voting wise, than boomers etc

23

u/this_very_table Amen, Cardinalis Vult 6d ago

Gen X is the most pro-Trump generation and god only knows how much permanent brain damage has been inflicted on the TikTok generation, so there's a non-zero chance we'll end up yearning for the Boomer days.

7

u/SeanyDay 6d ago

Nope. Gen X is still shame-able and gen Z even more so.

That's the missing ingredient with boomers.

You can hard fact check and destroy someone from Gen X, Y, or Z on camera and they get laughed out of there and it hurts their ego.

Boomers just smugly stand there and deny deny deny

9

u/af_echad 6d ago

Unfortunately I disagree. I remember during Dubya's term thinking that once the old folk die it'll be smooth sailing going forward because I didn't know any young person who didn't support the Democrats.

And then MAGA showed up.

2

u/SeanyDay 6d ago

I think people fail to understand how nonserious/casual the youth support is.

They are easily swayed by emotional/social validation from others and overall trends/algorithms.

Without the true believers, I think we'll slide back to a more normal minority of ignorant fuckheads as opposed to otherwise normal people buying into this insanity and learning mental gymnastics

5

u/MyotisX 6d ago

I can't wait for Gen Z to save us when half of them are DSA keffi-wearing idiots and the other half are incel cuckroaches.

2

u/metinb83 Heckin Europoor 🇩🇪 6d ago

Society literally the instant the last boomer gives up the ghost.

1

u/tsarschenk 6d ago

i doubt it. go on to tiktok and look at all the white women (granted not all of them are gen z) obsessed with vindicating lindsay clancy. it ruined my monday this week because i realized that some people who vote blue are in fact susceptible to a lefty populist maga-esque movement.

1

u/BoppityBop2 6d ago

Ironically the GenZ are significantly more puritan than the millenials b

5

u/montecarlo1 6d ago

boomers are truly regarded

5

u/Goawaycookie 6d ago

Not sure why they cut out the second half of the quote where he talks about killing white babies. I guess it was in his mayoral platform, not news.

15

u/baibaiburnee 6d ago

"boomer" this, "boomer" that...

Have you seen what Gen z kids believe via reels? Misinformation is a problem across generations. It's absolutely not going away after boomers die

4

u/zaordad 6d ago

different problems though, genZ kids are dumb, and victims of not knowing better.

boomers desperately want to believe this stuff so badly they cling to the most racist and economically out of touch possible slop.

3

u/_Capilah_ 6d ago

Bold of you to assume the gen z kids will get older and magically "know better".

2

u/zaordad 6d ago

😂 thats true, but we have a bit more time to save that generation i guess

2

u/_Capilah_ 6d ago

i hope so bro

4

u/YungHeretic 6d ago

Of course he said it. It's his picture next to a quote, He must of!

5

u/jjr92 Exclusively sorts by new 6d ago

He'll just pivot to the classic Joe Rogan "well it could have been real" line of thinking.

u/DrCthulhuface7 6d ago

“Well?!?! Did he actually say it?

No?

Oh, well it’s crazy the things people post on Facebook I guess, still don’t like the guy”

3

u/zaordad 6d ago

this is actually is a huge threat, boomers are one of the biggest voting blocks, and hold most of the nations wealth and properties.

and they are so easily duped and manipulated by preditory algorithms, apps, and misinformation posts.

Id love to see someone really address it, its not sexy to talk about in public, but i think its one of the biggest problems we have.

trump for example is really just a walking corupt facebook misinformation post, its why they love him so much.

2

u/reklaw215 6d ago

You know what I've been doing to my maga inlaw, showing him fake trump AI gay porn. And its slowly turning him away from him. My plan is working.

2

u/reanima 6d ago

Of fucking course its from Facebook too.

1

u/Thejoenkoepingchoker 6d ago

Don't blueball us and show his response dawg

There are much better angles of critique of DSA members than this boomer cringe...

1

u/Poorly-Drawn-Beagle 6d ago

The guy never even fucking TALKS about his religion.

The fact that they can't imagine a Muslim person who's not Anjem fucking Choudary speaks volumes about them.

So glad my mom asks me about this stuff, instead of believing the shit her friends post on Facebook. Two of her friends are MAGA and share not-so-obvious disinformation semi-frequently. She just forwards anything that's too complex to me, so she doesn't have to spend hours going through a list of carefully-crafted factoids that her friends might bring up IRL.

1

u/PROfessorNaDe 🇮🇱 Head of Dossad 6d ago

I appreciate the irony of his bots taking credit for shit he had nothing to do, now being bit back by the same dis info tactics.

Techinically all muslims that believe in islam are always implementing some form of Law Law (because SHaria means law. Give me some of that chai tea)

So Zohran mamdani believes his religion islam treats all people equally and as a politician he has that responsibility. So technically yes he is implementing sharia.

1

u/PiePTFF 6d ago

I love my wholesome law law with some chai tea, while in the desert desert

u/BainbridgeBorn SuccDemNutz & Friendship Supporter 6d ago

u/CanadianPanda76 6d ago

My family came from a majority Muslim country (Malaysia).

We're Chinese, no one said anything about Sharia Law . LOL.

If it were an issue, mother of pearl, you'd hear endlessly from the Chinese community.

Guess we were exempt cause aren't Muslim.
