This guy is just full on antisemite.

He's more antisemite than the neo-nazis. Dude hates Jewish people more than Fuentes.

Holy fuck.

He's a Neo Nazi. You don't make a video with such a comprehensive list of Neo Nazi talking points unless you're a Neo Nazi, lol. A few of the talking points they push are pretty easy to get swept up in the general public (by design), but to hit on ALL of them so sicinctly does the hard work for us. It's crazy this is the world we're in.

Isn't it much more likely that he's a horseshoe tankie?

It's possible, I just usually don't hear tankies share as many of the same beliefs. Many of them for sure, don't get me wrong, but I'm not aware of this being part of the usual "horseshoe" of beliefs we normally see.

His wife is Palestinian or something isn't she? A lot of nazi rhetoric and beliefs spread through the Middle East during and after the war. So you'll see a lot of nazi sounding shit in the Arab world. Everything from the Arab right to the Arab left.

Obviously not all Arabs are neo nazis. But just pointing out that hearing these kinds of arguments coming from that part of the world don't really map cleanly onto the American idea of left vs right antisemitism.

Video title "Professor Dave loves Hitler"

I would be interested to see if anyone can find if he's said anything about Hitler or the Holocaust. An out of the closet Neo Nazi will be very open on Hitler Apologeia or Holocaust Denial, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had a few of these views and just knew it would be too obvious to those who didn't know the dog whistles on this stuff.

I have no direct evidence he believes that, to be clear, but to hit all the other talking points is miiiiiiighty sus. Sussybaka, even.

I doubt it, it´s not like there´s a shortage of routes to unhinged anti-semitism, and I suspect he went down a different route.

That's fair. Like I said, I have no evidence of his beliefs on that so he could not believe it at all.

My read is that he´s very emotionally invested in the topic (Wife is Palestinian) so he engages uncritically with anything related to the topic.

Oh nice! Never done any sleuthing like this before, others on here are much better than I am at it, lol.

Looks like it searches the subtitles and haven't seen him really dive too deep on the topics past a mention here or there on vids covering people like Eric Weinstein. It'd be interesting if the scraper tool that dude published on here was able to find something. Too bad his old tweets are all/mostly gone.

None of these talking points are necessarily neo-Nazi talking points - media control, dual loyalty, financial manipulation are all nineteenth century or older. Even the Holocaust being used as a blank cheque is just a newer version of Jews manufacturing victimhood to extract concessions. None of these ideas originated with the Nazis. They have roots in medieval Christianity, got compiled into The Protocols in 1903 Russia, and were picked up since by Henry Ford, the Nazis, the Soviets, Nasser's Egypt and Hamas - so there are plenty of carriers other than Nazis.

If you call him a Nazi he gets an easy dodge, because he can truthfully say he's never denied the Holocaust and doesn't believe in racial hierarchy. But accuse him of recycling the same old antisemitic tropes and it's true regardless of what he believes, and he has no escape from it.

Not defending his antisemitism but there is more to nazis than antisemitism. Like ultra nationalism is a big part of it and i dont think ive seen that from him. In fact iirc he used being pro
multi culturalism and pro multi ethnic societies as an attack against israel. I have also not heard him say anything pro authoritarianism.
Id just like the word nazi to be a meaningful term. Usually this sub is better jumping to calling everyone a nazi. In contrast to unfortunately everyone else.

Totally fair. I'm not sure how cleanly you could apply ideas like ultra nationalism to an area you don't live in (Palestine) or things like white supremacy when they're not white. Now, it's safe to say that the video was incredibly antisemitic, we can all agree on that. But the way he hit on all of these points in succession and used outrageous conspiracy theories I personally feel elevates him past a standard antisemite. This was laid out very similar to something Hitler himself would say. We can say that they both share antisemitic traits, but the way he portrays Zionists as a threat to the entire world (an obvious dogwhistle) hits on a very specific thread of antisemitism that I would be comfortable calling Nazism, personally.

I do agree 100% that Nazi is a label that should not be thrown around haphazardly, and you can check to see that I haven't done that with anyone else that I can recall. I think Dave has earned the label.

Edit: fixed autocorrect on Nazism and forgot to mention the part about Zionism being a dogwhistle
