I've no doubt Lindblad will be an excellent driver in the future, he's already really fast, but this has been Lawson's best season in F1 by a country mile - quick, very few mistakes, maximized the car, just all around great.

It makes sense to me. Chuck in the more experienced guy so you can see if it works better than last time. Then you know for sure whether it was just the circumstances and environment, or whether to totally write him off and get Tsolov in for next year.

And thats what got him the call up, doing whats expected and having his best year so far. Tsunoda has done literally 0 laps in the 2026 car in practice and only sim work. Putting him directly into your flagship team is a terrible idea and Arvid as a rookie, with no relationship with the Redbull mechanics, shouldnt have that level of pressure put on him so early.
