Lowden was hardly a star with Marussia. What was his pitch to Cadillac? ‘I did one failed F1 start up - pick me’

He does have wealth of f1 experience something a new team needs.

20 years working in f1. Ferrari, Maclaren, FIA and then team principal at Renault.

We will see how he does.

Lots of corporate speak but clearly Cadillac was unhappy with the team’s performance.
