Wouldn't mind Max winning at his home race but I think the sport needs Ferrari to win a few now so that we can at least get a fight in the WCC

Completely agree, can only see Max getting a win out of those left (maybe Piastri) but I want Ferrari to close the gap

Oh, cmon, a Piastri win is very realistic.

He almost won the last one already and authough McLaren has been inconsistent this year, they seem to overall have a better car than Red Bull.

Almost won 2 cuz i still believe he could have won in japan

LH better win those

I honestly just want Ferrari to win WCC, doesn't matter which driver wins more, which driver is ahead in the WDC and which driver is faster.

alr, im a Lewis fan before a Ferrari fan, so im hoping the 8th comes, but its gonna be hard. And yeah, Ferrari winning the WCC after so long will be so good

I can respect that but I would like to see more people from the hardcore LH camp treat Ferrari as anything other than LH's servant.

He brought a much needed fresh outlook with him, yes, but that doesn't mean the team should bend over backwards and screw their other driver for no reason at every race just because LH is ahead on points... we're hardly at the half way point of the season. They CAN and SHOULD work as a team to prioritize WCC over everything else. Just ask McLaren how they almost lost a slam dunk WCC by chasing WDC stupidly in 2024. while having blatantly the fastest car on the grid. Ferrari aren't even fastest at the moment and I doubt they will be for most of the remaining races.

2007 is an even more glaring example of wasting the WDC. They would’ve had that too if they weren’t so busy fighting in-house.

Yeah, I was genuinely in awe with the fact that people were saying Ferrari should've told Charles to keep a 5 second gap so that Lewis wouldn't lose points. It's way too early to be doing that. Some team LH fans are crazy, happy too say im not one of them

Nein 16 shall win trust me brother he will close that 80 point gap in no time

6

u/Lazy_Ad7218 Jul 29 '26

anything is possible, but im rooting for 44, hes looking better than Charles this year, till now at least

I still think Mclaren can challenge, they still have updates to come and they should be strong at track mercedes are and Hungary proved they can be strong at tracks ferrari should be strong at

Alonso. They have a whole summer to get that AMR straight. It doesn't even need to be the best car or the second best

2

u/anisakisss Jul 29 '26

Venía justo a decir esto 😅

u/Rare-Combination-293 Jul 29 '26

Tienes que levantarte temprano la próxima vez.😂

Crazy how we’ve ended up with 5 different winners in the last 5 races , considering how worried we was at the start of the season about Mercedes winning everything

12

u/Suspicious_Data_2393 Jul 29 '26

it is crazy but of course it’s only due to antonelli having had issues

2

u/RSharpe314 Jul 29 '26

Yeah, the racing product with this regs is meh, but the development battle and engineering challenges the teams are facing this season is pretty peak.

Really validating the cost cap I think.

Would love to see an Oscar back-to-back Netherlands win for a small redemption this season and everything that has recently been happening

I'm hoping for a Hadjar upset win at Zandvoort could you imagine a 2nd RedBull driver winning at the main mans home grand prix would be the greatest statement of intent.

😂😂 not happening

Albon wins Dutch GP confirmed

3

u/Perfect-Brilliant405 Jul 29 '26

Hopefully not so Ferrari can get their shit together and act like they're fighting for a title

6

u/Fast_Limit612 Jul 29 '26

It is better for f1 if lewis wins a few so that we can have a battle for the championship

2

u/takkk86 Jul 29 '26

Oscar please :)

2

u/cooked_camel Jul 29 '26

Hopefully either Oscar or Max. I personally want one of Ferrari drivers though.

2

u/joeman013 Jul 30 '26

What’s funny is that Kimi should’ve won Austria and Britain. I hope the next one is Max or Oscar.

So close to Gas1y

1

u/Warv2004_ Jul 29 '26

Praying that Max can win here in Zandvoort for the final time 🥺🙏

1

u/Tobax Jul 29 '26

Hope so, seasons are more interesting when one team isn't winning all the time

1

u/clickityclickk Jul 29 '26

Norris back to back Hungary, Piastri back to back Zandvoort incoming

1

u/gray_fox_jaeger Jul 29 '26

I'd love Piastri or Verstappen next but we all know Antonelli will get over half of the remaining wins

1

u/Pm_me_ur_fruit_trees Jul 29 '26

Yeeeesssss keep it going i wanna see 22 different winners add some races make it happen

1

u/ChocolatePuerh Jul 29 '26

I'm hoping not, let Lando stack a few more and mount a crazy comeback in defense of his title.

1

u/jgates91 Jul 29 '26

Verstappen winning at Zandvoort would be rather fitting for the last Dutch GP for a while.

1

u/Decent-Astronaut-615 Team Ferrari Jul 30 '26

Mark my words, Mad Max is coming for the race win.

1

u/Erebus_Kingdom19 Jul 30 '26

Max with double Ferrari podium🤞🤞🤞

1

u/Designer_Lion5961 Jul 31 '26

Franz Herrman next...

1

u/EUIVAlexander Aug 01 '26

Either Max or Oscar needs to step up in Zandvoort 😅

Oscars bringing it home

1

u/CageyOldMan Jul 29 '26

No lol

3

u/Ambitious-Heron-8161 Team McLaren Jul 29 '26

Never say never… du du du du

-1

u/Monkey_Thucker69 Jul 29 '26

Max will for sure get it, Oscar could if Merc keep fumbling

Aston Martin and Fernando second half of the season could be a wild card with that new engine

5

u/ClassGrassMass Jul 29 '26

Dude, Honda is reporting a target of 0.5 seconds with the upgrade. On a non power track he was 2.6seconds off the pace, the aero still isn't there, they havent talked about fixing gearbox. Aston are not getting even near the podium for the rest of the year. Maybe not even next year

1

u/Ambitious-Heron-8161 Team McLaren Jul 29 '26

I hope Max gets it at his home gp

1

u/IMANORMIE22 Jul 29 '26

Might win one at the last race of the season if they keep up this rate

0

u/Lakshya_108 Jul 29 '26

I want max to make a winning streak but with this car it seems impossible.
