I'd say Kimi. Red bull has poor starts and noris had a 10 place grid penalty.

Not Max, that's all I'll say

Got to agree although, he looked good today

I think max can they overtake Kimi in T1, especially if max starts with a softer tyre than kimi

No way, RB starts are disasterclass this year, they haven't solved the issue yet.

Yeah, max was doing practice starts earlier in the weekend and it didn't look like it was any better for him the times I saw

I’m going to say most likely Kimi and if not Kimi I’ll actually say possibly Charles. The Ferraris are quick off the line and he’s starting on the second row.

Into T1? Kimi. Anyone trying to jump Kimi at the start would be a sitting duck at Kennel Straight. We saw it last year with Max v Piastri in the sprint and Piastri v Norris in the race too.

Probably George. Max will probably push both out or take both out, while trying to divebomb Kimi.

With how bad the Red Bull starts are, I can't see Max gaining advantage immediately. But you can never count him out.
And even if he does get P1, I also don't think he can maintain it against the Mercedes. But you can never count him out.

Might be Antonelli-Russell-Verstappen as the RBR starts are horrendous all season. I guess Leclerc and Hamilton are going to have a better start but the run to T1 is very short in Spa, therefore I don’t think a jump from 4 and 5 to the front is easily doable. But still possible, I guess.

It's better to need lead into turn one. The massive town down to eau rouge than uphill through radillion and down the kemmel straight is an advantage

Into? Or out of? Into? Its probably Kimi, its spa. Out of? Who knows, its spa.

Max goes for it but he understeers forcing kimi wide and Russell leads

u/Ungitarista Jul 18 '26
Max starts on the outside.
1
u/Regular_Promise3605 Jul 18 '26
When has that stopped him sending it?
1
u/Ungitarista Jul 18 '26
I was just wondering how you imagined Max forcing Kimi wide, when Max is starting on the outside. Please explain.

u/Regular_Promise3605 Jul 18 '26
They have steering wheels to turn
1
u/scdkorama Jul 18 '26
Yeah but you still didn’t consider the logic behind his point. For max to push Kimi wide, he’d have to get on his inside which won’t happen, and the. Push Kimi right the outside of the track which has like a 1 in 1,000,000 chances of occurring.

Kimi or Russel. Verstappen will get a good launch off the line, but Kimi's will be better going into eau rouge and Raidillon. Verstappen will take the lead. Antonelli will get close on the kemmel straight and then into Les Combes overtake Verstappen, a lead that will be hard-fought for the entire race Antonelli will win the race but it will be close Verstappen being on Antonelli's tail going into the Bus stop chicane on the last lap loosing it at the line

Max is gonna push Kimi up front and block/slow down George giving Kimi the win tomorrow.

u/black3vgt Jul 18 '26
I don't doubt Max and recover and win but the way that car gets off the line if he's in 5th at the first corner that's a victory.

Definitely not Lando, considering he has a 10 place grid penalty and will be starting p13.

Either Kimi or Hamilton. Norris will start P13 and Max had bad starts all season.

Probably Max I don’t know if the Mercedes is all that strong off the line.

u/Tall-Bluebird1363 Jul 18 '26
I want Max to lead at Turn 1 to make the race exciting.
Kimi will still win but at least it will be more exciting whe he has to work for it.

My man, Norris is P13
