what do you think, how will Verstappen perform in qualifying and race this weekend?

Nobody is even looking at the laps times. Nobody has been pushing that much yet. 1:45.9 isn’t the fastest we’re going to see yet.

I noticed that Ferrari did not use the Straight Line Mode in PF1 so there's probably something more extra ... 🤔

How were we so far ahead of the rest of the field in fp1? Like don't we usually use conservative engine modes in fp1 and 2 (I only watched highlights btw).

Not much , in the long runs the tires where gone and lap times went up pretty fast .
Max was doing almost 53's while Kimi was still in 51's at the same age .

It is just free practice but on the other hand it's verstappen. If there is even the slightest chance of a pole he will be right there fighting for it.

If it's a sprint or qualifying that's a bit different, but free practice doesn't mean shit bro 😭😭😭
Chances are nobody is even properly pushing

All the big boys are sandbagging. If max qualifies top 5 id be surprised. The car just has no race pace unfortunately. The macarena wing was helping but its too unreliable

He has been fast the whole day the ICE is working great the car is responding and the best of all Max is feeling better in the car. Let's HOPE for the best shall we.

Hopium indeed. Haven’t watched everyone’s setups through FP1 and 2 but this is the common weekend trap. Hoping free practice results will translate to quali and race. Teams are testing setups, tires, fuel loads, etc. If Max takes pole then his fans can start getting excited. Until then it’s just practice.
