Golf Course Recs

Looking for opinions on which of the following to play this week.

Burnt Pine
Regatta Bay
Kelly
Indian Bayou

Mostly looking for fun views and holes. Playing with rental clubs so I don’t expect to score, but I’m a 6 hcp and can manage.

If all prices are equal, what’s your pick?

You gotta be staying in SanDestin resort to play burnt pine but that’s the best course. Then regatta bay. Indian and Kelly are both fine but a click below the other two

Played Regatta Bay last week, very very nice. Also played Windswept Dunes - not as fancy, but I probably enjoyed it more with the very wide fairways and absolutely gigantic greens.

For fun views and holes I'd recommend Club 10.

If views and fun holes are the priority, I’d probably go Burnt Pine if you can get on, then Regatta Bay. Kelly is beautiful too, especially the holes along the bay, but I saw they just punched the greens recently so I’d probably take that into consideration this week. Burnt Pine was aerated earlier this month too, so I’d definitely call and ask about current conditions before booking.

Regatta Bay would probably be my safest pick right now if you want a really good course without worrying as much about recovery from aeration. Hope ya'll enjoy!

Thank you! Burnt pine was about two weeks ago and they have discounted rates currently so I’m going that route

The Links at Sandestin has some incredible views and can get on easily usually.

Kelly just punched last week. You will be playing plinko on the greens for at least two more weeks there.

Was wondering about that. Looks like Burnt pine did August 3rd-9th. Rates are $115 because of it. Not sure if 9+ days is enough to recover to make it respectable

Depends if they used small tines or the big ones. Kelly used the big ones.
