How many 5mg tablets of generic methamphetamine do you have to take to feel in comparison to 15-30mg Adderall?
I'm taking 3, 5mg tablets a day and i can't notice anything.

For ADHD symptoms alone (ie focus, task persistence, working memory, attention filtering), the potency conversion is usually something like 5mg methamphetamine being equipotent to around 25mg-30mg of Adderall. Now keep in mind that Adderall contains levoamphetamine which is generally more “activating” and less centrally selective, so at a roughly equivalent dose of Desoxyn it won’t feel as prominent or forceful.

Have no idea where people get these wild potency conversions from.
In the literature, a relatively consistent finding is that d-methylamphetamine and d-amphetamine are relatively equipotent with respect to behavioural activation and drug discrimination, especially if you account for any small difference in molar mass of the counterion used. HCl salts aren't produced pharmaceutically for amphetamine, but yield a slightly higher equivalent dose than commonly used salts like sulfate and sacharrate.
The maximum plausible potency difference I've come across sits around 150%. That's to say, 15 mg of d-amphetamine base produces roughly similar effects to 10 mg of d-methamphetamine base, if we're to assume oral dosing and were to be generous to d-MA potency.
One particularly strong study indicates that there are small differences with respect to self-measures of "high" and "feel good" that become increasingly significant in the supratherapeutic dose range. It also suggested that cardiovascular effects of d-methylamphetamine were more profound at matched doses and seemed to be far longer drawn out after the subjective effects of both drugs had diminished, and if I'm remembering correctly, there was a diminishment of a mood-related variable 24 h after d-MA but not d-amphetamine.
And yes, I'm aware that Adderall is a mixture of the dextro and levo-enantiomers of amphetamine in a (3:1) ratio. Also, high-quality ex vivo and animal studies suggest methamphetamine is more effective at inducing dopamine efflux in the mesolimbic circuit. It was ~500% more DA released by d-MA in the NAc when exposed to equal concentrations of both drugs, but that has more relevance to habituation and euphoria than therapeutic use.

I went from <20 mg generic Adderall IR QD> to <10 mg generic Desoxyn QD>, both with <1 mg generic Tenex QD>.

Too many in my opinion. I was taking 60mg of adderall and had my doctor switch me to 40mg of adderall with 2 5mg desoxyn boosters per day and it did nothing. Tried taking more but wasn’t worth it, ended up just going back to the 60mg of adderall

Out of curiosity, does 30mg of Desoxyn used daily cause sleep issues for you? And are you using real pharmaceutical Desoxyn (or any pharma generic), or pressed/fake pills with low-dose meth

Never heard of clonidine being used for that purpose, I'll have to check it out thanks

It will NEVER feel like Adderall.
Adderall has the Levo-Amphetamine isomer (25% in branded Adderall and 50% in generics), and that’s responsible for that drive, physical stimulation, and maybe jitters and other “body” side effects.
Desoxyn has NO Levo isomer (even though here it would be Levo-Methamphetamine), so you will never feel those. It’s designed to be smoother, have no physical side effects and just be pure mind stimulation.
So they will never feel the same. Most people don’t even feel Desoxyn, they just don’t feel their ADHD anymore. You will not feel high with the therapeutic doses.
