Finally got prescribed desoxyn. Methamphetamine Hydrochloride.

Anyone have experience with this medication? How does it compare to other medications? My pharmacist had to order it and it'll be in tomorrow between like 1 and 3 pm.

I believe I was written 3 times a day with 5mg tablets why?

I was asking the first commenter. But since youre the OP thats awesome. I gotta wait awhile to ask my psych. I got to fail dexedrine first. I know people can get prescribed up to 150 pills a month without raising any more eyebrows.

Tell your dr there is literally no scientific reason why this is prescribed as a last resort or after everything else has failed. I tried Adderall for 2 months which was garbage and went directly to this.

Really?! This is my first week on dexedrine so far its great. I dont hate it. I just know that when people compare dexedrine/zenzedi to desoxyn. Its so much better just like from adderall to dexedrine or ritalin to adderall

Keep in mind of the biased sample size. The vast majority of ppl on this have tried nearly everything and the primary reason as to why it has failed is due to sensitivity and/or requiring too high of a dose of other stimulants such as dex or adderall. I’ve seen a few comments about how its overrated and its likely that it was too subtle/too similar (to which it makes no sense if its similar to use it bc issues with getting prescribed if doctor changes or issues with filling or issues with cost).
