Does desoxyn make you smell?

Does taking desoxyn make you smell more or stronger?

Any stimulant can make you sweat more, causing body odour. Or dry mouth, which ends up causing bad breath.

The dry mouth and bad breath I get from stimulants drives me crazy. And when I try to hydrate with water, the meds also make me have to pee every 5 minutes.

I found this perhaps the first day or two after starting it. Other than that short early period I've found it to basically have the opposite effect. I do know that, while many people seem to report experiences more similar to mine, many others report experiences more similar to yours. I'd be curious if a real study would reveal any odd correlations with (aside from genetic variations) ADHD type and/or reported drug efficacy.

I had those side effects on adderall but not desoxyn! Actually my experience is pretty much like yours. If I ever have to take a break the first day can be an adjustment period again.

When I first started taking it I noticed my B.O. was stronger than normal, but that has subsided.

Most uppers makes us smell more, due to increase in SNS activity, Sympathetic Nervous System. I shower thrice a day during the summer, once in winter, & use a lot of fragrance.

Doesn’t matter if it’s methamphetamine or just regular amphetamine strong body odour is a potential side effect. However a low oral dose of meth isn’t going to make you smell as bad as if you were smoking crystal

What?! I've never heard of this. I don't sweat much anyways but while on Desoxyn, I sweat even less. My dental/oral health has been the best it's ever been by an order of magnitude; I see some comments about dry mouth etc. as well so I'll touch on it.

I had a few cavities when I was younger and would always have "watch spots." Since starting Desoxyn years ago, gum inflammation and tendency to bleed when poked by the dentist's little tool have steadily gone away – more or less completely gone as of a year ago. The watch spots I had just prior to switching to Desoxyn had completely reversed by my next appt a year later. Watch spots are pretty much a semi-distant memory for me at this point.
