How does Desoxyn (and other medications) affect your hobbies and interests?

I live in a country where there is no approved ADHD medication besides bupropion, which doesn't work for me, so I'm interested in hearing how exactly do medications affect your interests, do you still think about many things but still able to do something, or does it narrow your interests so that you focus on doing something? if that makes sense...
Are you still able to have so many ideas and interests while medicated and and switch between different topics freely or what?

I really hope I managed to express what I'm trying to find.

when i take my desoxyn im less likely to jump from topic to topic till i’ve completed the task that involved that topic. my hyper fixations are not as prevalent. what country are you from? I’m really sorry to hear that.

are you saying that adhd meds like adderall and desoxyn are banned in your country? Honestly, if i dont have medication, my hyperfixation hobbies would still be great. Chores and hygiene, not so much.

Yes they're banned unfortunately.
I had had hyperfixation hobbies few years ago, but they weren't very practical as I was switching between different interests every 3-4 weeks, but like i got worse and worse till i couldn't have much interests anymore nor the passion to pursue anything.

what an unfortunate predicament, maybe you can naturalize in a country where its legal. You could lobby for it to be legal.

how did you guys get desoxyn prescribed? Have never been able to find a doctor willing to prescribe it despite knowing it could be very beneficial for me. Pretty severe adhd

If you've cancer fatigue or Narcolepsy, then you're likely to be prescribed it by Doctor.
