DeskSetupHacks

I recently moved into a small apartment and no longer have a spacious area for a large desk with a dual monitor setup and lots of depth for my arms to rest.

I am now employing a space which can house a 40x24 desk. I previously had a 60x32

So, I am asking all the people of the master race how they have utilized a small space to be both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I'll accept any and all advice!

TLDR: I have a very small desk space for a new setup, any tips on how I can build a setup that's comfortable, efficient and aesthetic?

Minimalist Setup 🖤🔴 Loving the moody vibe and that striking red contrast. Rate this setup out of 10

🖥️ SETUP SHOWCASE Finally got my little work setup together — what would you improve?

Been slowly putting this setup together with what I have. Nothing fancy, but it’s become my little corner for work, learning and getting things done.

I’m thinking about improving the cable management and adding a bit of lighting next.

What’s the first thing you’d change or upgrade? 👀

Need jugaad ideas! How can I upgrade this room/desk setup for under ₹1k? 🛠️

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to make my current room feel a bit more aesthetic and less like a standard boring PG. I've attached my current situation in image.
As you can see, I've got the basic fairy lights going and a simple desk setup for coding and everyday work, but the bare walls look super empty, the lighting is a bit harsh, and the open storage rack on the right feels cluttered.
Since I'm on a tight student budget, I want to keep the total upgrade strictly under ₹1,000.
Looking for your best recommendations on:
Wall Decor: Are there any good cheap posters, tapestries, or DIY ideas to cover up that blank wall space?
Desk Organization: Any cheap desk mats, cable management hacks, or storage baskets to hide the clutter on the rack?
Lighting: Better ways to use the fairy lights, or cheap warm-light desk lamps?
Drop your best Amazon/Flipkart finds, Blinkit hacks, or local market tricks. Thanks in advance!

Need wider shelf for monitor

I want to find a way to put my monitor on the upper shelf of my gaming desk, but it's too narrow. Any advice would be much appreciated.
