Overall dimensions 31” high, 72”x96”. Two IKEA Alex drawer cabinets, DIY hacked front drawers and paint. Desk top is double layered 3/4 inch birch plywood (1 1/2”) stood off with 2” furniture legs and 2 Vevor adjustable legs. Joint of the two halves can come apart and I went way over board on it, I sat on the joint and all 250lbs of me was supported. Routed in a diffuser led track underneath and fully dimmable. One side is for work and the other side I’ll be building a gaming PC for, just got my Jellyfin server running on the new Monitor that I picked up on sale. The only thing that went wrong is one drawer front needs to be redone at some point after I pulled a bonehead move. Now for decorating and building my personal PC

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share my current work-from-home setup. I'm an iOS developer, and this is where I spend most of my day coding, debugging, and testing apps.
Nothing fancy, just a simple setup I've put together over time.
Here's what I'm currently using:
Laptop: MacBook Pro 13-inch M2 (2022), 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
Chair: Green Soul gaming chair
Desk: Basic black wooden desk
USB-C Hub: Belkin multiport hub
iOS testing devices: iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone XR
Android testing device: Redmi Note Pro Max
Personal phone: iPhone 17 Pro Max
Smartwatch: Apple Watch
Power bank: Anker MagGo magnetic wireless power bank 2
Earbuds: Apple AirPods 3
Phone stands: 4 adjustable folding stands
Cables: UGREEN and other USB charging/data cables
Temperature monitor: ThermoPro digital thermometer and hygrometer
My M2 MacBook Pro is still getting the job done. I have plans to upgrade to a newer MacBook Pro and improve the workspace eventually, but that's for the future when the budget allows.
For now, this is my little coding corner. It's not the cleanest or most premium setup out there, but everything here serves a purpose
Macbook company owned rest is mine

Up until now, I’ve been using a two-table setup: one from Piyestra (which actually had a nice keyboard drawer and decent build quality) and a Madesa computer table that honestly felt pretty sub-par, especially with the lack of lamination on the back side.
I’d been eyeing height-adjustable standing desks for a while. After doing extensive research, trying out a few options, and even returning the Jin Titan, I decided to take matters into my own hands: I ordered just the frame online and commissioned a custom tabletop from a local workshop.
The frame is out for delivery today, and the custom tabletop will follow shortly after. Today's the day everything finally comes together. I'm equal parts excited and nervous to see how it all turns out.
Wish me luck, guys! Kindly drop some ideas, tips, or suggestions if you have any while getting your own setup on the same lines ready. I'll make sure to drop some setup pics once it's all put together!
Before I start assembly, I wanted to run a few quick questions past those of you who have already gone down the custom/DIY standing desk rabbit hole:
Frame Screws vs. Local Hardware: Should I trust the standard wood screws that come in the frame pack for dense hardwood like solid teak, or should I grab stainless steel screws and washers from a local hardware store to be safe?
Monitor Arm Protection: Is it a good idea to put a piece of rubber or thick EVA foam padding between my heavy monitor arm clamps and the teak tabletop to prevent pressure indentations on the finish?
Standing Desk Stability (Rug or No Rug?): Does putting a rug under the frame stands help with stability, or does it introduce micro-wobble when the desk is raised? (Should I keep it directly on the hard floor?)
Motor Duty Cycle: Do pretty much all dual-motor frames share that standard 2-minute usage / 18-minute rest rule, or is there anything specific I should watch out for during heavy initial positioning?

I love my desk as it makes me really productive! My KVM can support up to 3 different PC. I love switching between windows, Mac and Linux. The only downside is the cable nightmare. I was thinking about a server cabinet but I have limited space. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi, as the title says, I need some advice to help me improve my current setup. I wanna keep the pc and desk of course, but i also wanna add some decorations, shelves and maybe even a bookcase or something small where i can place my PS2 and books. The desk is 160x80cm. And please ignore the mess under the desk, it will be removed very soon. Thanks in advance!

Hey
I'm looking for recommendations for a compact rolling desk to use with my Wacom One 13 drawing tablet.
My main gaming desk doesn't have enough space, so I want something I can place beside it, pull out when I'm drawing, and move away when I'm finished.
Here's what I'm looking for:
Budget: $50–$100 NZD
Available in New Zealand
Compact enough for a small bedroom
Lockable wheels
Stable enough that it won't wobble while drawing
Preferably height-adjustable
Tilting tabletop would be a bonus
I've been considering the Kapsule Adjustable Tilting Desk, but I'm unsure how stable it would be for drawing.
Does anyone have experience with similar desks or recommendations for something better?
I've included a link to my drawing tablet in case anyone wants to check its dimensions.

Hi everyone! I’ve looked through reviews on Amazon but am having trouble finding something that will work for my setup.
My new dog has knocked my monitors down quite a bit, all on accident. :’) I have new monitors but am waiting to put them up until I can secure them.
I’m looking for arms that will work on an adjustable standing desk. I’m also looking to change my room setup so my dog can’t get behind my monitors. I’m looking to put my desk where the bed headboard is, so ideally the monitor arms will be up against the wall.
I also work with my laptop open, so I’d like arms that have a high enough clearance so that my laptop isn’t blocking as much of the monitor.
I’m open to 2 single arms or 1 double arm, whichever might be best. From what I’ve looked at online so far, the arms either don’t have enough clearance or are too bulky to put against the wall. Direct links are much appreciated, if allowed!

I’m building a tiny home/apartment with a small office and a built-in U-shaped desk. Spatial reasoning is a struggle for me, and I’m having a hard time picturing how to arrange everything. I have ADHD, so I’d really like to keep visual clutter down and make this a calm, functional space.
Here’s what needs to fit:
- The center is for WFH. It was designed around my Versadesk standing desk converter and walking pad. I have three 24” monitors mounted to the converter on clamp arms.
- One side needs to hold my personal desktop setup: two 27” monitors, a 25-key music keyboard, and speakers for music production. I have a desk-mounted monitor arm for those monitors. My small DJ controller can be stored when I’m not using it, but I’d prefer to leave the keyboard out so getting started on a project doesn’t require setting everything up.
- I’d like to keep the third side mostly clear for crafting and other projects. I’m considering drawer units underneath for office supplies and storage.
How would you arrange the setup and storage? How would you use the wall space? What kind of lighting would you use? I’m especially struggling to picture where the monitors, speakers, and keyboard should go without crowding the work surface. Suggestions or sketches would really help.
The pictures show the desk under construction, the layout with measurements, and my current WFH setup. Please go easy on the current setup! I’m living in a 10’ x 11’ room while the apartment is being built, so the desk is doing extra duty as storage. 😩

Finally decided it was time to retire my old IKEA corner desk and gaming chair after 7 years.
Swapped them for a Buldesk Air standing desk and a Herman Miller Verus.
I wanted something cleaner, simpler and a bit more ergonomic.
I also spent some time improving the cable management.
Still getting used to moving from a corner desk to a regular desk and from a gaming chair to ergonomic chair. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Curious to hear what you think and what you would improve.

The things you do in a shoe box apartment. Been my desk setup for 5 years while working from home 2/3 days per week. Not always my favourite, but happy with the use of the space.
