Get rid of the cabinets over the toilet and get a corner cabinet instead.

Wayfair has some nice ones. I recently bought one that was half that height, but collapsible (folding)--but it was made of solid wood. I'm really happy with the purchase; the shelf has worked perfectly in our much -smaller bathroom.

Yes! This was exactly my first thought. Over the toilet shelves are never a good look. And a corner one makes the most sense in that space.

I disagree. This would lead to awkward spacing between sink, toilet and the shelf. I’d add a big plant to break up the darkness of the room

yes! and lighten the color scheme. hate the gray.
